guantlets?

I thought it was like bows and sheathes: vertex animation. You make each frame, then when you import, you import the first, then you import the next and select 'append'.
 
Yeah there are three frames: dead straight, naturally curved, and fist. So you just need three objs and import them one by one.
 
Not that this is directly related, except to rigging sort of, but has anybody tried making a shield into a dagger shape with the end result that it would appear like a two fisted fighter with a blocking dirk.

Well the solution I used when I did dual wielding for Gandalf's staff and stuff was just to set the shield to size 0.. or was it 1? Anyway... arrows didn't tend to stick in it.
 
Thats what I was thinking of trying...just seeing if anyone else had done it..thanks Dain. Now if I can just figure out the correct anchor point-hand thingy so it doesn't completely look retarded (only partially) :smile:
