Our server is where you can practice and improve your melee skills through a battle mod running on small maps that are only playable for infantry classes and only with 1 handed weapons + shield. Each map will be first to 7. Grab your 1h and shield, some friends and come play on our server. The main objective of it is to provide a supported place to play and improve your skills in constant melee fights and to bring back a really popular and enjoyable server.
This server is a relaunch of original idea by Tiberias and Sinjide - Topic

We would like to give a huge credit to an amazing man and very creative mind - Alpha. He has helped us a lot with coding and scripting everything necessary to make the server work. This wouldn't be possible without him.

We would also like to thank Lord Metzger, as always for his continuous support to the community allowing us to use his servers once again, this time providing a high quality server located in DE to enjoy the Groupfighting experience.

Our server is using Adimi Tools. However, it is not necessary for you to install it, since most of the changes are on server side.

Rules


These rules must be respected in any case in order to let every player enjoy his stay on the server.
A rule has to be applied in game once it appears on the list.

1. No racism or discrimination of any kind
2. Do not abuse admins
3. Do not teamkill on purpose
4. No impersonation
5. No recruiting
6. Do not delay the rounds

8. Do not instigate arguements

We've installed the old map pool for now, but we plan on setting in new maps that will fit better the new quantity on players and hopefully they'll be built good enough for people to not have that impulse of circling. The current maps(most of them) have like, stones or any type of thing in middle of the map that I believe serves as incentive to people to go in that "circle". So basicly, having a wide area will be hopefully more comfortable for up to 40 players, and without obstacles in middle people shouldnt have a reason to really all the way around I guess. Will still happen, but hopefully not that much if we can avoid it. We'll try to work on a way to solve the circle thing anyway.

So yeah, in the upcoming future if the server activity is decent we'll work on providing wider and better fitting maps for the server and Alpha and Rey will look into fixing the Statistics ID-based issue(as now it's registering players with 2+ names same id). After this is done we'll probably reset finally Statistics and provide news related to this.
 
I would think wide areas would be worse actually as it's easier for people to see the stragglers (which is why people circle, numbers advantage). But it's usually fun at the start anyway so we'll see.
 
yeah its good at first but then it descends into duel kids running around with no shields waiting for everyone else to die and then one team has fewer players with shields gets over run :razz:
 
Isn't it better leaderboard is updated by ratio instead of kills?
 
Just change the map pls or mod them because it is turning into a circle running **** just like IG. Just do them like on NW, flat arena maps and nothing else.

No. Small example.
For instance you can have a player with 3.5 ratio with 3500k for 1000d and an other player with 4 ratio for 4k and 0d. Is that fair ?

Kills amount is way more important than the ratio. In terms of ranking experience.
