Greek Peltasts Party Now Finished

Thats right, as soon as i get a new harddrive ill make some new challenges for you who master M&B, the party will consist of very fast very accurate javelin throwers on foot, low to no armor. This isnt anything special but for you who dont like/cant mod the game yourself this might be interesting for you. Graphics cant be added at the moment to my knowledge so they will probably wear existing clothes, ill try to get them wear the most proper ones. They will be able to kill you with a pair of javelins so remember to bring your shield.

Edit: OK now the party is available for download, it replaces the sea raiders, i recommend using big battle settings and good AI, Unrar to mods/native

edit the javelins to do 50 damage...

then you have a challenege.

Maybe I should just get the vanilla of M&B, and make an "Uber Troop Mod"

All of the high-end troops would have good equipment, capable of killing in 1-3 hits. Archers would be devastating. Armor would be harder to take out. The polehammer would have a reason to exist.

Could you post a little more Info on what it is? I figured it was just some unit that ran around in the map , and in that case - How did you assign it a spawn point?

i just used the existing sea raiders spawn point and replaced them with these javelin throwing peltasts. They are white dressed javelin throwers that run very quickly and are extremely skilled, almost impossible to beat, took me 3 attacks to wipe out 50 of them, i had 20 knights myself, so this could be interesting for those who seek a challenge, it isnt realistic but will keep you challenged for awhile if M&B seems to easy.

pfft no wonder the game is so easy for you, knights pwn everything. Try using marksmen as your main soldiers.

I would like to download this except that I like sea raiders now and none of my saved games work for more than 3 days.

But reinstalling shouldnt take more than 10 seconds, if you have the installer on the harddrive that is.

I've already done that twice. Wich is why I am going to download the game onto a comp that' twice as good as mine right after 2 o clock pacific.
