Love the difficulty starting out......money is tight. Arm/Armor vendors are asking inflation prices all over. Your out numbered 3:1 at all times. Guns hurt. Anyone know the $$$ cheat rofl! Great game.

Equipment prices are perfectly rational.

Paying for a ragged hat the same amount of money a trained mercenary helbardier takes for a week...makes sense!

Speaking of that, how do you earn first money, one poor guy on the horse with poor musket against 16 bandits?

lol, right? I mean here I am paying my soldiers in pennies and in battles and my shoes cost more than a week's salary for them. At least my men will know where my priorities are. I wonder how my soldiers will take the news when I tell that that I got a new pair of pants and won't be able to pay them for the month.

Or like a little axe of medium quality. Costs as much as feeding an army.

...because it's not at all like you could just steal it and nobody would even notice it's missing, because it's just one crappy axe!

Guys, it's taleworlds, this much we expected, surely? I am curious though, do you earn some insane amount from fiefs or ransoms? I never got that far (apparantly you can't start your own kingdom, so I sort of lost interest) or do they *actually* expect you to grind for 5 point damage increases as if it was world of warcraft?

Fiefs, ransoms? I'm still struggling with a very first bunch of bandits!

I've only had one experience with a ransom thus far. I was a merc for Sweden and joined in to help some Lord who was already beating the **** out of a Pole and after the battle (after doing literally no work in the battle) the enemy Lord surrendered to me. I rode off with my prize and about 30 seconds later I was immediately offered a random of 5.4k for him. It's about the same as you would see in Warband.

I think they have fixed the prices perfectly. In just a few days in WB i had all the EQ i needed. But the new prices stretch the game out making it better imo.

Find the closest mercenary camp and get some soldiers, if you're to low on cash go to a tavern and beat up that noob for 50 thaler.
For like every 50 thaler you get one more soldier
Btw dont challenge him to that other fight thing, i pwned him only to get raped from behind by two of hes friends.........
And loot whatever stuff you can get you're hands on and actually use it yourself instead of just selling everything.
