great mod but....

this is great mod. so far best mod i have played and i have tried many many mods but there is few things that require some fixing.

first of all i think 1h swords are useless. my character is at level 16, I have strength of 15 and power strike is 4, one handed sword skill is ~140 and i hitted 6 against bandit with viking mail shirt and there were 167% speed rating. im using balanced bandit bastard sword (not sure if it was bandit bastard sword but anyways) and shield because when i cant live without shield in battlefield because of those damned rhodok sharpshooters

secondly i wish there were more weapons. id like to use 1h mace but there isnt any good looking and good 1h maces and more shields would be also good. i've seen around 5 different shields.

and then those helmets. why does horned great helmet have more armor value that regular great helmet. if i want to maximise my armor value (which is really good thing to do when playing on hard difficulty) i have to use god damn uggly helmet with uggly bull horns or helmet with useless and uggly piece of cloth on top.

also i think that tournaments are way too overprized. id say that 500 or 250 should be max amount to bet. i won 2 tournaments and bhought best armors for my self and some weapons for my companions just because i didnt know what else i should do with all that money.

and last thing: is that dueling option already in game? i cant challenge anyone yet.

EDIT: oh i knew i forgot something.

id like to see more factions and bigger map also. it would add something new to this mod
and then those nord cavalrymen.... they suck. nords with horse suck and then there is nord ARCHER MOUNTED ON HORSE!? on sieges, when i command my archers to hold place, half of them are nord cavalrymen with 7 throwing axes and when they run out of axes they are just standing there, being slaughtered by khergits when my vaegir marksmen are shooting fingers blazing and bow string singing.

im sure i still forgot something important

The Duel-feature is not added, but I'm working on it and hopefully it's coming soon.

Tournaments .. yeah, they are a big deal, but without them it's hard to keep up many high tier troops.
More usefull weapons were nice. Right.
New factions and a new map are not planned and I think will do too much work. New maps always have the prob that AI do not move correct on them.

Nord cavalrymen really are not a good idea in a siege-attack when you will use archers 
To support heavy infantry they do well. Nords are not good at riding, so they are slow on horses ..

about the helmets, or all the gear generaly. there is a "huge" mass of  hemets, you need to look around, you can get top of the line pot helmets and the like also without decoration on it. just keep looking.

mind you iam one of this persons wich likes the deco on the helmets, at least most of it...some look a little over the top, youre right there. my winged helmet i got now, i wouldnt trade it away for one or two more armor class points, it just looks too bad ass(for my taste that is, see my pic in heroes screens thread...).
also when you are on horseback youre chance to get hit on the head is like a snowballs chance to survive in hell.
youre leg protection is more important there, and these come without fancy deco !

dont know about snowballs but i have been killed many many times by shooting into head... it might be just bad luck but still.

one more thing.... there is a weapon called Viking axe. it says that it is one-handed weapon but it isnt. if you could fix it then it would be nice.

hm, you must be really unlucky. my lvl 23 char didnt catched any heady so far. do you use a shield? this should be your primary defense against missile weapons,...

yeah i use shield sometimes. now im using it again when i found 1h warhammer but i had to use 2h hammer because i couldnt kill even a peasant with my sword. but i still got hitted into head even when using shield.
