grapic and preformance fail

hello i've just bought a new computer with a 3.4 ghz quad core processor 8 gb ddr3 ram and 4 gb grapic card
my computer can run all games with out the smallest lag
but i have a problem with mount and blade for example some times the men need their heads and some times when i press back space the game starts to lag realy bad
can any one tell me why?
and maby tell me what to do to make it stop
