Graphics settings manager?

I've been playing around with different mods and I've realised that some run significantly smoother than others (depending on whether they've got Polished Landscapes, etc). I like to try to run at the highest graphics settings possible, but when I switch between mods (quite often) it becomes a chore to switch everything to the settings that work well for that particular mod (plus, remembering them is difficult).

Is there a simpler way to do this? Some kind of settings manager which saves preset settings and which you can use to change the settings depending on which mod you want to load up?

I'm running the Steam version, btw (not sure if the regular version will allow different settings for different mods or not). I tried searching for it, but came up with nothing. Any help is appreciated.

I'm pretty sure your graphics settings stay the same between mods.

That's why he wants a manager. He'd like a preset for each mod so he doesn't have to fine-tune the settings each time he loads up a different mod.

Reading comprehension fail on my part.    I thought he wanted them to default to highest settings.
