Just wow... turned everything up to maximum, and the game is GORGEOUS!

There is no word to describe the difference...when I played the demo, I actually thought: this looks like ****

This isn't Empire Total War quality, but its Rome Total War/Oblivion quality.... just AWESOME!

Deleting the HDR files fixes it.

Unfortunately I have dual monitor while I play and I often need to alt-tab for various reasons.

Without HDR it is still beautiful

Do you know where the HDR files are to delete them? My game looks worse with HDR so i have it off always, i might as well take it off and get rid of the bug.

Hi Everyone,

I'm really stuck by trying to make this mod to work.
I was fine by installing the two files but I got confused when it got to the enbseries as there are loads of them: there is one just lying about and there are another load of them in this single folder. I just don't know which one I ment to replace for the original enbseries.
There is this folder called Additional Hrd Files full of them and I don't know what to do.

Do I have to copy all of the enbseries in the Mount and Blade Directory?
Or do I choose one and copy the chosen enbseries and put it in the Directory?
Also, what is the enbseries which isn't inside the folder is it a back up one?

Please help me I really want to use this Mod

One more question when I was trying to see if it worked suddenly my Mount and blade wouldn't run, everytime I clicked "play" a message kept on coming up "mount and blade is not responding do you want to notify microsoft about this or no" I know this shouldn't happen.

First things first, if you've downloaded all the files on the first page, you should have three files, GE_Textures_2.5, ge_resources_2.5 and hdr_add-on_v1.1.

Installing standard GE is simple.
Both GE_Textures_2.5 and ge_resources_2.5 are .exe install files. Double click on them, they will automatically detect the location you have Mount&Blade installed to.

If you want the HDR addon as well put the files in hdr_add-on_v1.1.zip file you've downloaded into:
C:\Program Files\Mount&Blade
or wherever you have mount and blade installed to.

Additional HDR files are simply alternative HDR settings you can use if you don't like the one that's included by default. You simply take them from the folder and replace the old one.

Okay I have done it now.

But there is another problem everytime I quit the game a error always occurs saying something like "D3D objects" how to you stop this coming up?

You can't get rid of it, it's an issue with the HDR. It doesn't do any harm though, but if you really want to get rid of it, uninstalling the HDR is the only way to do it.

It's the error you will always get upon exiting the game, with this mod.

Yes this error comes only with the graphic mod. With other mod i dont have a problem.

i love the look of the graphical boost that those screenshots show. im pretty sure i just left a post on i think maybe version 3's thread. .. now im not sure...been engrossed reading through about different mods since i got my full version of M&B today. *cheers with a pint*
now. well im totally new as ive mentioned in at least one other thread. bash me now if ye must. gently.. leave my eyes and hands in tact so i can still play M&B.  i have a Q. ive found 2 mods. CUstom settlements and the advanced soldier tree/commander mod and i was wondering . can the graphical enhancement 2.5 and the colorful textures one be applied to other mods , or are the ones where theres a bit of conflict/issue?

Graphical enhancement won't work with colourful textures I'm afraid (they both replace the same textures, so they just overwrite each other), however they can be applied to other mods, just like to Native M&B without any issues.

Are you using HDR? Uninstall that and check.

I have a little Problem with the HDR Part of the Mod.

Im using Windows Vista. I installed the Mod as told but it crashes when the introduction Video is over. I tried all enbseries files. Some bring M&B directly to crash, some only show a black screen. What can i do?
