Well I was toying with some since my last post in the Random Questions thread and found a pretty good one. Colordul Textures kinda suprised me with the Calradia map. Then I decided it was time to make my self a dark castle in one of the snow camps. To even more suprise (mainly cause of another graphic mod made my textures weird) look so much better than what i have seen. Most of the castle parts seem to look darker and I cant tell the diffrence from anything else. But that is pretty much a good mod when it come to this game. I still havn't tried Polish Buildings (swadian) mod yet so I will get back to you guys/girls on that.

hey, what about posting some screens so we actually see what you are talking about? :)
if you try different graphic mods you could maybe make some screens of the same spot so one can see the difference between them. i only know the 'graphical enhancement mod' so far, so i'm interested in others.

Sorry about that when I finished taking a few screens it was pretty late so I fell asleep at my computer.

Is that a light bulb in the campfire?

haha yes, if you want something to light up you have to place some "light" and the icon in edit mode is that lightbulb. While playing and not editing you'll instead see a glow coming from that fire.

Sorry I havn't goten back in a while was busy with my Dag group, anyways I suggest backing up your textures folder in the main M&B directory that is the one with the folder that says modules DO NOT PUT IT IN YOUR CUSTOM SETTLEMENST MOD FOLDER.

Yep whenever you mess with something back it up first. I know that as the current offerings stand the only graphical change I use are the "less hilly borders" from Zaro's Graphical Enhancement, on my mid range laptop different textures work with only minimal impact but I find I prefer Native textures. (and if the ground textures and the like from Native get an upgrade with Warband, hopefully sticking to Native will help my settlement transition over well to Warband's look.) I haven't tried "Polished Buildings" yet, but I was hoping he'd finish a few more of the factional styles before I give them a go.
