Got kicked for the first time yesterday.. damn it felt good

Yet to be kicked yet for a good score with a pike*, but I know how it feels to check the scoreboard and see 20+ kills for 1 death  Pikes are awesome, especially used as you describe - sword & board engages, you circle round to the flank if possible and WHAM! pike in the back of the body/head. They're especially great against those cocky 2-hand spammers who run at you with their weapon chambered for an attack and never parry despite you smacking them in the stomach three times.

Wish Rhodoks were used more often, see more polls for Swadians, Vaegirs, Nords or Sarranids against each other than I ever see Rhodok polls Not enough people understand the Rhodok awesomeness.

Though I did get kicked on a CoD4 server the other night for annihilating the opposing team (composed of the clan whose server it was) using only the M9 pistol against all of their weapon choices

This was from today (yes its only 5-1 kill ratio    )  I will get to where you are rhade one day!  I used to get 50-1 kill ratios in Jedi Academy I will do it here as well!

May 'only' be a 5-1 K/D but when you consider most people seem to average, from what I've seen, at around 1.5-2 kills for each death, anything more than that is pretty good. Be proud when you get those scores!

The great part is I really hated playing on sarrinid and rhodok teams but enjoyed the other factions,  but now I can enjoy them all because I found a nice setup of gear for each one that I am effective with

I would say the average is around 1:1, seeing as every kill has to come from somewhere (unless you play with bots...)

I was surprised, though, at one time I wasn't kicked in a Siege server.

The field was Sarranid defending against Khergits.  I went as a Khergit Lancer without a horse along with another person (Mauler) against 3 opponents.  We went on rampages, really, and soundly defeated them.  Mauler then left and it was then just me against 3 opponents.

I captured the castle by myself against 2 Swordsmen and an Archer as a Khergit Lancer.  My final score was 27 kills and 10 deaths.

True but this archer was well-aware of me (and could leg shoot me due to the Khergit's small shield).  It's pretty easy to defend a castle against an army of one man but apparently, not so easy to defend against a valkyrie armed with a hafted blade, shield and axe.

Nyah.  Not entirely.  I'm sure that some enjoy my company since I prefer to sneak behind the castle and chase archers off the walls.  I also had 4 TK in a siege (but I believe that was because a few overzealous teammates rushed ahead and I also went 32 to 6 in that Siege).

So yeah, actually...I would enjoy that as well.

People just have varied scores. I often have awersome score on one map, and sucky score on second map. Oh, and there is big difference who are you fighting against.

I like the most when i kill 6-8 people as last man standing and win the round.

Speaking of vote kicks, i cant count how many times there was vote kick/ban on me today. Benedict ,if you visit this thread by chance, could you count it (your battle server)?

I used to get vote kicked for 'hacking' all the time in CoD 2 and 4.  Sadly, I'm not good enough at Warband yet to get those.  I usually play TDM because there's really not much choice for my ping.  I am usually near or at the top of the kill count, but my deaths are right up there as well.  I'm reckless and only double team an opponent if I can clearly see my teammate sees me and is positioning himself to work with me.  Otherwise, I charge headlong into the enemy.

i was playing in a DM, i wasn't even top, but it was Rho vs swa, i was a swadian xbow, and i had the siege xbow which tends to shoot thru the free shields, and this guy using a 2h and free shield kept trying to kill me, his name was 97***(i don't remember last #'s) and i kept shooting thru the shield or killing him with my short sword, well the next time the map changed i got kicked ? n i was like what? so i joined again, kicked, again, asked why he responded with well foul words, kicked, i join again to spite him, kicked , and the final time he didnt kick me so i wonder if he can only kick so many times? but he started a poll which didnt pass to kick me, i lol'd, turns out he accused me of speed hacks, which id never heard of until then , only aim n block hacks, but i had a bad score due to typing, was like 1-6 plus he killed me once and bragged, so i lost interest n left the server

Skill does matter but team mates mean a lot as well.  If you have a good team you can do very well with a pike without much skill.
