Good mods for Medieval Total War II (main game, not The Kingdoms)

Sup guys.

I wanna jump back into Medieval Total War II, and I',m trusting the wise TaleWorlds community to show me the light! If there is such a thing, I would basically enjoy a mod that makes the map more detailed (more provinces), as well as possibly having more factions in the campaign (especially in Europe really), so basically a realistic mod as it seems like a really easy campaign at the moment and the map, kinda desert when you think that Medieval Europe had many more important cities.

There's an old version of DIV that's for regular Medieval and still up for download. But it's unstable as hell and lacks a lot of what makes the mod so fun to play.
Seriously though, get Kingdoms. It's dirt cheap these days and the mods are worth it.

Dude I have Kingdoms, the reason I ask for a vanilla mod is the entire map of Europe to play in. You know, a campaign with a ton of factions and cities/castles across all of Europe, Russia, Great Britain.

Kingdoms only has bits of the World map in each campaign, so that wouldn't be ideal for me. Unless they somehow made a mod with a campaign with the old, more general map?

Well, dude, then you should read up on the mods. Because, dude, the aforementioned Stainless Steel and DLV mods actually work on a custom map for all of Europe and beyond. As does the majoity of the other major mods, dude.

The lovely thing about this game in comparison to later installments of the TW series, is the fact that modders have actually access to the maps.

True, reading up on them would have solved that I guess, I just didn't have a clue it was possible at all.

Personally, I recommend Stainless Steel, Broken Crescent, Third Age TW, and DLV. Keep in mind that the best mods are quite heavy.

Also, I think EB is being ported from Rome to Kingdoms soon.
