Going hobo/going Calandale

Come summer holidays, me and 3 friends are gonna live on the streets for a week (or more, if we like it).

We've agreed that we can take money with us from home, but they may only be spent on cigarettes, weed, or booze.

We can also only take one pair of clothes, and must look as hobo-ish as possible.

... So, anyone tried anything similar? Got any advice? Any thoughts?

Anyway, sponsor means... give money for doing something. so you might get sponsored for climbing Mount Everest, or a football team gets a Sponsor to buy their kit, and in exchange they wear the logo on their kit.

So in your case, you'd get friends and family to sponsor you, and give you cash, and pretend that the money will go to a homeless charity, when in fact you will keep it for yourself!  (And since you will technically be a hobo anyway, you can be legit in keeping it.)

Like, get someone to sponsor your thing, and then talk about your experiences and try to help people raise money to give hobos so they can get even drunker.

Well, my family won't let me, so I guess I'll just tell them "I'll be sleeping at Janus' place! Bye mom!", or somethin' along those lines.

I think we'll just beg or work for money, but I sure will discuss the idea of sponsoring with my, at some point in the future, hobo buddies.

@ Voutare: Danmark. It's not cold in the summer, sadly. And I WON'T forget my coat, since a coat with a lot of jangly bits is hobo-ish to the extreme.
