Glitchy/laggy Gameplay

the Campaign map is very laggy and so are the battles i have turned down my Graphics and downloaded nvidia GeForce experience and it doesn't matter how big the battles are either no matter what i do the game is very slow. These are my specs
8th Generation Intel® Core™ i7-8750H
NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1050
Up to 32 GB DDR4 2666 MHz
Up to 512 GB PCIe SSD

What version of the game are you running ? 1.4.2 or demo 1.4.3 , and are starting a new campaign or saved game ?

I am running 1.4.2 and it doesn't matter if its a new campaign or a saved game. Thanks
