Hey Vendigr this is "Anonymous", guess not anymore! 
I have been playing in this server for as long as I remember, more now than before.
It is my favorite server and I will love to help keeping it up and running, I will donate when I get home from work, where else am I going to slaughter so many people and have epic fights with top players including you in the middle of the battle!?
So many people play on GK_Siege server, yet so few answer the call! This is legit you peasants!

Great to hear Anon/Cruz! And this is my thinking exactly... it would be beyond easy to pay for this if even 5% of the population gave some pocket change. For now they'll have to unknowingly rely on altruists like you
Its true, I would appreciate if people waited more than 4 minutes (03:33:20 AM - 03:37:25 AM) to start hopping on the fraud bandwagon. Especially by people who sort of know me

I was skeptical about this going in to it. I don't really give a **** about losing a bit of money. Here's what I'm not ok with:
Paypal sends notifications for this stuff. Saying you didn't receive it, and even further saying you didn't even look up the donation amounts you had received, and "oh well we're going to shut down anyway" is ludicrous.
If you want some advice for handling donation money in the future, use transparency: Show progress of where the donations are to reach the goal.
You are making it really really easy to assume you're pocketing the money, or skimming off the top, or just being untrustworthy in general. I don't know if you are or not, but not keeping track of amounts you receive from donations in two ****ing separate accounts (GK and this public one) is ****ing retarded.
I hope you can see why I was upset, and why I still am upset. You are not being responsible handling this money.
And no I don't want my donation disclosed, but it's too ****ing late for that.

Paypal does not send notifications for money that you are collecting from a donation link, unless you set it up to do this. I was unaware of this until you pointed it out. So, as I said before, I mistakenly believed no one had donated anything. No need to beat a dead horse. Also, I never said "oh well we're going to shut the server down".

I don't know why you'd assume that, and without having permission to list donation amounts, I don't know what other information there is to give other than the amount we will owe and the amount we have. Also, I'm not keeping track of donations in two separate accounts. It is one account with two emails (personal and public) attached to it. What's "******* retarded" is the idea that I'd pocket donation money while paying to run a 90 slot server... good way to lose a hell of a lot of money.

I could say a lot more here but I won't. You were in no way obligated to give money. If your only intention is to flame this thread then I'd ask you to stop posting here. Besides that, I do honestly appreciate the donation -- it will go entirely towards the server believe it or not.
I'm not trying to flame. Just trying to point out inconsistencies in your fundraiser to other people who are considering donating. If this isn't the place to do it, I don't know what is. You can bash me all ****ing day; I get that from everyone anyway. The way these donations are set up, you have full knowledge of what goes in to the account and no one else knows, not even other people in your clan. You have the final say in what money goes to the server and what money goes to your pocket. So from that perspective, for you to come out and lie about not getting donations, it looks like fraud. There is a huge difference between listing names of people who donated and listing the amount of money you have towards a certain goal ($216).

You're accusing me of lying with no basis. You've also completely misunderstood what I was trying to say about listing donations. So far I have been literally as transparent as possible regarding donations. In fact, the only figure I haven't released* is the amount you donated, as you implied you'd prefer in the SS of your receipt. Editing my earlier post to include your name was intended to be viewed in good humor -- it was changed before your angry message two posts above. I have changed it back since you felt it to be malicious in some way, and I don't want it to be taken out of context. Going to ask again that you stop posting insulting messages here.

Also, I might as well say this: I'm the guy who is legally responsible for paying the server bills, which, among other costs, has already amounted to hundreds of dollars of my money. Your suggestion that I would "pocket" the money you gave me is pretty absurd and leads me to believe that you donated with the intention of trolling this thread.

Vendigr just return the dudes money, and don't accept any donation from him in the future. Problem solved.
If GK is asking for public donations, will the public recieve administration abilities since they are, in fact, running the server? I don't believe that it's very fair to continue to keep GK calling the shots and bans when the server is going to be living partially off public funds.

Nope, this is why we're asking for donations instead of selling parts of the server (or something like that), that would entitle people to control of a portion of it. This is like saying the red cross, or any nonprofit, should be managed by all of it's thousands of donors because they've given donations to it.
EDIT: Also, the vast majority of expenses are not currently being covered by donations, so its a pretty big stretch to say that the public is " in fact, running the server".
