Giving Units

Is there a way to give yourself units? Such as, say I want fifty Nord Recruits. It's just I get annoyed trying to go and collect recruits, and I just realized once I declare myself king, there will be no way to go and recruit units from any village I don't own, and I only own Rhodok land, and don't especially enjoy their units. (Just wondering if there way a way too, I really dislike cheating in games so I might not even do it, might just try to go and steal a bunch of land I like before declaring myself king)

i'm the same, i don't cheat, although there was a tweak for the first mount and blade which made faction villages produce the same faction soldiers, no matter where the village is, should work with warband...

donwload diplomacy mod, once your king you have a constable who can not only recruit them, but train them as well

its native, with more options, native with the features it should have, think of it as you may, still very good

All right, thanks, I might check it out. I had wanted to play vanilla at least once, as this is my first run through.

It only trains them to the 2nd tier unit and it still costs the upgrade money of course. The issue is that he'll only train 5 per night; load all your Nords into one fortress and give the command, for example, to make the process easier and more efficient. You don't want him to train though if, for example, you also have Rhodock recruits. You want those Rhodocks to be following the Archer line and the Nords following the Infantry lines.
