Give TW a break guys.

Quite simply they made the major mistake of announcing the game in 2012, allowing people to think they were developing the game constantly for 8 years which was ****ing stupid, no wonder people are disappointed after the wait and expectations.

Not to mention the string of errors over the years putting Bannerlord in development hell. We can only hope they've got it together in the past year or two.

Hey guys, I see a lot of unnecessary complains here and recently a thread was posted and people were complaining that the development speed is absurdly slow, the communication with devs is always lame and the state the game is in cannot be excused only that it is in EA.
I just wanted to say that have some patience this game is really big and complicated let the developers do what they have to do, everything will be fixed eventually they just need some time. The sheer size of this game makes it very hard to get things done and it might seem like they are lazy or slow and not doing enough but that is not true.

The game needs bug fixes, performance optimization etc for now and this could take a long time. If you want new features and mechanics you have to wait. I see a lot of people giving devs **** for small things like "why are banners not being added but babers are?", "Earning are nerfed too hard", the writing and the lore is not as good as some mods in warband, Glaive weapon is OP etc. I don't think these issues are their priority right now and it shouldn't be.
For now they need to make the game and the mechanics available right now run properly and smoothly and then it makes sense to expand on everything and add more stuff.

so just have some patience this game will be amazing.
Most of the listed "unimportant" problems the developers themselves made in an attempt to improve the game. The main problem with games is not the lack of time, but the fact that the developers don't listen to anyone. After each patch, I get the impression that the developers are fixing problems in one game, and I am playing a completely different game ... I have no strength to list the problems and ways to solve them. In the meantime, while the developers go their own way, online games are steadily falling ... Note: the more patches are released, the less online the game has ...
TW, looking at the falling online, it may be worth asking: are we going the right way?

My problem is that they showed stuff years ago which isn´t the game now and probably never will be in the game. Then they also removed the "place the troops before battle perk"

It was in the game for months (of course not working) everyone was looking forward to that perk and then:

On the other hand siege AI / smithing / balance is still broken  .

Have they given any reason for this removal of the pre battle orders perk?

to be fair, they could be planning to make the "place troops before battle" thing the default instead of tying it to a perk. That's how it really should be. Of course we have no way of knowing that since they refuse to reveal any of their plans.

Think they are reworking it atm since people where not content with it at the time. And i agree it was pretty stiff then and could be improved...But we have to see. Might be scratched to. Same happened to your companion feelings on actions...It was there pretty early on then it got removed for rework and im pretty sure it will come back when diplomacy and more dialogs comes in

Can't find it but I did see a comment from a developer saying they removed the perk because they want to implement it in another way.

Yeah they are working on an combat system for battlefield engagements, something similar to sieges from what ive heard some month/s ago...so that strategical aspect can be interesting to see where it lands

So is there any part of the game which isn´t beeing reworked right now? I hope that the sheep texture is final at least

But still good news IF they really want to make that perk the standard for all battles.

And literally the post below explains how the post above doesn't cut it.

At best it's an explanation, not an excuse. 10 years is about twice as long as what is considered a long development for a game. We will wait (well, what choice do we have ? :p), but nobody can tell that people "should" be patient. They already have been.
Yeah, i get ya, fair point to you sir

It'd be kind of nice to know why it was removed and if it will be in the game without the need for perks, that players should have to guess about this kind of stuff is what bothers me the most about TW.

I know. They refuse to talk about any upcoming features until they're practically finished and ready for the next patch, so we still don't really have a good idea of what the finished game is supposed to look and play like. Its very frustrating. Its no wonder that so many people think that there won't be anything new and substantial added to the game and that what we have is what we're gonna get. I'd really like to hear from Armagan for once and hear what his grand vision for the final game is and how its all supposed to tie together. All we get now is bits and pieces.

They removed the pre battle feature out of the perk tree and now people are trying to spin this as a positive? I will eat crow if it comes back as a default mechanism, but come on folks, try to be at least somewhat objective.
