Recruit
Hey guys, i know this forum probably have many topics like that, but i do not see a keyword for that, so here i go:

First of all i am from Brazil, so i dont know english very well, sorry about that.

A) I am at day 447, i have enough money like 480k, my Griffins were leveled 3 times, but thats not the problem, i conquered Ishkoman, and now i cant go far from my Town and village or they will be destroyed by Frieds, Ravs, and D'shar, the D'shar especially are very annoying because every time they come with 700+ man's clamming for lost territory to raid my villages and i can't do nothing, i will have peace someday ? can someone advice a way to me ? i do EVERYTHING

B) About recruting lords, im afraid to get a lords who has a fief too far away from my towm, that is a problem ?

Stats:
renowm: 3444
honor: 128
rtr: 45

Try to capture a nearby castle asap - the AI tends to go after the last stronghold they lost - means D´Shar will gladly aim for the - compared to your city - weakly defended castle.

If you´re now lucky enough Fierdsvain, D´Shar and Ravenstern will finally declare war on each other and get rid of a smaller problem of yours. Try to keep your villages safely in order to be able to recruit and replace losses fast.

It isn´t a bad idea to recruit a few lords who are far away - better his land gets torched than yours. It could help relieving the strain on your hopeless defensive tactics and give you the little breather you need to raise personal morale.

Luring a certain type of army close to Ishkoman may help as well. A little Snake Cult Army, anyone? Feed off the leftovers, recruit tons of prisoners, boost your garrison, make profit!

Capture their dukes/kings/ marhsalls, they will ask for peace pretty quick.
With that kind of money you can hire a very strong mercenary army to defend your fief while you go out with recruits and build your army on the way.
You can't do any thing about the villages...capture other castles/ towns and divert the attention to them. Sometimes i just capture/recapture a castle until the war is over, usally the easiest....did that with the empire and Maras castle.

Pick your lords with attention, no weaklings:grin:

recruit your lords carefilly.
pick those tough lords with household elite soliders, like grey archers/adventurers/rogue knights.
pick those honourable lords, they don't complain much when you give other fiefs, the way to tell thme from unhonourable lords is, when you capture and release them after battle, they'll appreciate you, not saying mean words instead.
so, it's a good idea to give honourable tough lords castles, they can easily raise an army of 150+ with 40-50 household soldiers, very helpful in the battlefield.

Sounds like you really need more right to rule. Pretty rare to get them coming at you from all over so early.. Would expect it if you wipe out 2 factions and absorb most of their vassals. Get those companions out spreading the word about your right to rule. Hire every companion for that, the others you can later dismiss or turn to lords.

Thankyou so much guys, really helped me.

Now how do I know if the Lord is honorable?

I try to catch those who has more renowm, but all fief's very far.

About luring unique spawns, i can not move away from the city, or it will be besieged, I really can not use time.

About rtr, how much would be ideal? I started too early?

I can't help my villages ? It is all damaged and when i repair something its looted again..

Many thanks

One can usually tell wether or not a lord is honourable by the way he talks to you. Eg. after you defeated and released them the dishonourable will tell you how  much fun you  must have had defeating them and releasing them afterwards whereas the honourable ones congratulate you to your victory.

Just keep on talking to them and you´ll soon get the feeling for it. If you don´t - the honourable lords are those who miracously start to like you for acting nicely (=high personal honor score).

eae blz ? ;P

Thankyou noosers, i really did not know that about honourable lords.

Now i'm doing pretty good, i started to take lords as prisioners, including the king of D'shar, that helped me alot, and i have two or three lords as prisioners with high relation and great renown, like 1100+, how i can discover if they are honourable or not? Should i release them and take them after to see that ?

That's not important, look at the lords wich have troops you like and release them after defeat to see what happens. You don't need good relations with many lords. Besides...most lords are honorable and you will make some companions lords and will get by default some lords when you eliminate a faction.
Sooooo don't worry about it, pick about 10 lords and you can ignore the rest( pick from all factions the strongest:grin: )

Kavian Kahn is a good example of an honorable lord. Every time you release a lord after battle, your relation goes up with the most honorable lords from every faction. Thus explaining the high relation when you first meet them. Kavian has the Djah archers and he is the lord I get to be marshal. While Im out saving the poor villagers from hairybreeks and olaf, He is taking their castles. The more property you give them, the more troops they spawn with.

Build the skilled craftsman. They will repair the damage that was done by the raiders.
