German translation

Hi, and sorry if there is already a topic for this - I'm pretty new to Mount&Blade, but it impressed me. Alot.
So I just registered and look forward to take part in the forum discussions.

But now the reasons why I make a new topic:

As I am a native German speaker, with enough time to spent on modding and developing, I want to offer my service as German translator for Mount&Blade.
That means I accept that it will be damn much work to translate all the words and sentences in the game, but as long as it's not written in code, I can handle it.
I have modding experience in leading, skinning, and editing config files, or scripts (I can only make very very simple scripts by myself), so I guess as long as the language data is in .ini or .xml or even .txt I will be able to do it.

Now there is another question. If you have doubts if I will be able to do this, I know someone on this forum who can assure you I am able to do it. I just have to find him ^^
Next time he's on X-Fire, I can get him for you.

Hello Raven!

Please check the German forum; there a German translation of M&B was discussed some time ago. Bismarck and others worked on it a great deal - maybe you can join them.

Our place might seem a bit quiet, but we're nice guys and open to new input.

I think you can do the same thing as before to make a new language file. They are in .xls (excel spreadsheet) format, so it's easy enough.

I have actually just started translating a few days ago.
I have started with "game_strings", "factions", "troops" and "skins" (So they are covered).
Your help would be very welcome.
