[General] Welcome to the New Board!

Hello everybody, I'd just like to celebrate the arrival of our new board for Balance of Power and Werewolf! A big thank you to the administration who allowed it to happen and worked to make it possible. I think it'll be a big boon to the popularity of games like these as a whole, which will increase participation, something that is sorely needed in both games. It'll also remove the vast number of threads (especially stickies) that we use from Fun Stuff, to a point where the board now looks empty with only a single pinned thread. Still, I think the move is a very good thing, and I'm excited to see it play out in all its glory.

If anyone has any questions/comments/complaints about the new board, feel free to post them here.

I really like how we can easily access the old game threads and I think it's gonna be funny seeing two dead threads for Dodes. I doubt it, but hope it doesn't validate meta gaming somehow!

I was looking foward to a separate board for forum games so I could ignore it like almost all other boards on this forum but now that the photo contest is in here too I'm sad. =(

Aight, so I've moved over all the threads which were requested to be moved, and also trawled through the first 19 pages or so of remaining Fun Stuff stuff and moved over a few things which also looked relevant. If an old thread needs locking, or unlocking, or archiving, whatever, it's best to drop myself or Brutus a PM requesting the change.

I really CBA trawling through the remaining 38 pages of Fun Stuff for old BoP/Werewolf threads, and the Photo Contest stuff will have to wait till another day, when my eyes don't feel like they're bleeding.

The new board is something to be admired, and to help increase the popularity of the board, I've made a small signature banner. Feel free to use it, so that others will be drawn to the board to look at all of the great games that we have going on.

I think in general if you've got a game then you can go for it, but some pre-existing gametypes such as Werewolf and Balance of Power have host lists that should be followed.

Perhaps you could post your idea for a game here, to get feedback and see if people are interested. Then you can launch the actual game thread / sign up ?
