If you talk about M & B in general one can not help but mention the quantity and quality of the mods that were developed during these years. As if that were not enough here comes the Napoleonic Wars, multiplayer DLC for M & B Warband introducing a number of good news about a little 'all key aspects of the experience.

We're always touching the sore point of the series M & B, in terms of graphics were not made momentous changes although the gaudy uniforms of the historic period contribute to a more enjoyable round. The accuracy of uniforms and weapons is rather noticeable even in details most infamous, perhaps not made in a workmanlike but still present. The animations are rather woody and overlapping polygons are always present. It could do more but apparently has continued to focus on gameplay and maps with excellent results.

Playing a few minutes you can easily see that the Napoleonic Wars seems more like M & B With Fire and Sword in Warband. The presence of rifle makes things a little different but intuitive, the tactic as usual is the master. Launch the attack in a line of enemies fanti leads to almost certain death, it is always necessary to arrange themselves in a meaningful way and shoot in waves so as to cover his line is charging. The introduction of artillery door not to take sides as if it were on the beach at any point, remain too firm can lead to defeat if the enemy gunners are not novices. Also new are the destructible elements of the landscape, the cannon can erode buildings and roofs, leaving the enemy no shelter. Using certain specific classes you can create covers for their companions going so to make the gameplay more tactical. The different modes are eight approachable even though some of them do not have much popularity and people on the servers latita enough.

As mentioned earlier there is no real story mode, you can only play offline battles or you can dedicate to the multiplayer. Commonplace to say that the second point is the most interesting, for the first time accessing the page you will have to choose the multiplayer aspect of his soldiers, the nickname and the flag. Accessing a server in multiplayer you'll be asked which faction to play from those available, you must choose a regiment and specialization. Once completed these can start to play, some servers may be comfortable for up to two hundred players, creating a real pitched battles with officers shouting orders and military bands strike up the marches of the time. The maps are thirty playable but given the high potential for development of amateur content we expect that new scenarios will soon pop out of the community..."

8/10

Don't forget people you can review the DLC yourself if you have it on STEAM by using their recommend feature. To get NW's one go to your profile, look at all your games and scroll down until you see the DLCs banner.

I expect they'll save it for a quiet moment or for the Flare Path column when they look into Napoleonic stuff.

Seems like a rather old review, or just not up to date, or unaware of:

Online battles are huge in this game, going upto 250 players,
Just a small thing. As it's 200 now. Excellent review nevertheless.

Maybe contact the dudes at giantbomb.com for a Quick Look video. Although, their main pc guy and the one who did the other Mount&Blade Quick Look videos is currently hard at work on the website's redesign... so yeah.
