Because this forum doesn't have a personality. It consists of individuals of different backgrounds and preferences.

Are you trying not to understand? Cause I think it was explained many times by different individuals already. Try to read carefully.

Stick up for what you believe in when the opportunity presents itself. If you want to speak with an LGBT member of the forum, you can use a thread appropriate for the given topic, or via PM. Just don't get butt-hurt when an admin deems a useless thread to be... useless. And don't take it out on everyone else, and assume that they're bigots themselves.

Your thread was useless. We already have many LGBT members and we don't need a thread to defend their rights here. They are not being oppressed.
