Whenever I join battle I have full control over allied troops, even if they belong to other lord. Is that intended? If so, any idea how to disable it? It kinda defeats the purpose of leading a group of hired blades.

Tried my best when i did them, but in future i may be able to update them and hopefully improve them. and a suggestion.
-Check out some ashigaru stats, for example Oda Skirmisher has 79 proficiency in archery and 119 in firearms. Whereas Chosokabe has 119 in archery and 79 in firearms. Can you up the stats to find an even ground? Proficiency in archery matters more than firearms.
Now that you mention Nobori Bearers. I´ve noticed that they don´t always carry their Nobori and I remember one of them once fighting just with his fists.Aruda said:2)Yes it is fixed.

It won´t be colored in notepad. I just colored it here to show which one it was. To find it just take a look at what is around it and then compare it with your own file. BTW Daimyo Edition is based on Gekokujo 3.0, so unless Aruda changed something in mission_templates.txt himself, Sugoroku´s skirmishers submod should work here too.
EDIT: My bad, it was mission_templates, not scripts.
EDIT2: I forgot Daimyo Edition also includes Melphiz´s submod. So no, it won´t be compatible.
