Maybe giving some silver to guy that decapitated another guy? I think it would be good and funny.

Maybe the other way round...the guy who has lost his head needs silver for the cosmetic surgery...

Lol, not a bad thought I guess. It's such a rare event and hard to get that you might as well gain a bit extra.

I simply germanised that phrase, by removing the unnecessary space between the two words. The meaning is still the same, it is read the same, and it saves space. Your post is hereby invalid.

Has 0.73 made gold earning easier? Certainly feels like it does.

Or maybe it's because I prefer me axes.

No changes has been made to the money system in 0.73. But I think Eirikur tweaked the combat and round earnings up a little bit on the Einherjar server.

I think we're getting a bit too much gold at the moment. Even if I kill just one guy/girl and I die I already have more then the 860. And when I just die the next round I still have the same amount of money :/. And I buy about 840-860 worth of equipment each time. I think you get like half the money of your equiment refunded?

Anyway this will result in more and more and more money for everyone on average, even if everyone would kill each other every round. I think a bit less would be better. For archers it is particulairy a lot of money.

Oui, gold is always being tweaked and looked at - until we get a new system.

Hmm reading through this thread I agree with the ideas on the dmg system, all the tiem as archer I rarely get more than 2 kills, most of the tiem i just throw my enemy of balance so an ally can get him.

And even when I play huscarl I still tend to play as support for others as Im not a particulaly good fighter if my shield goes down. SO i use a spear to keep the enemy distracted, but usualy don't get kills.

Glad you like the suggestions, the situations you described are two perfect examples of important supportive actions I want to see being given credit for!

Bump;

Would you guys appreciate if I sum up all the good suggestions in my main post for ease of reading for the devs, if they want to extract a few good ideas for future patches?

Its probably a good idea, so it all gets a little more structured. It would keep people from repeating things already suggested as well...

In my Vikingr event, I allowed people to gain a little bit of money with each progressing round, even if they did die each round without a single kill. I mean who doesn't like nice goodies?

Please do, it would be very helpful!

Sorry for the slow response, I must have missed this post

If its possible in the new money system to have less gold than in the round before, like it is now, one  should have a look on the downgrading system. I really hate getting a sax instead of my franciscas, just because i thought i could afford a bigger shield.
Don't know what other players preferences are, but to me helmets and shield size are least important, followed by armor. Weapons are sacred

That brings me to another point, this mostly happens because i never really know how much gold i will have next round to spent. I try simply adding 860 to the current silver count, but i doesn't seem to work out everytime, or maybe i just miscaculated. Well, i may be incredible stupid, but honestly don't want to care about that stuff anyway, otherwise i would have searched the forums about how that works long time ago. It just doesn't make to much sense to me... is the money gone? Do i own those items now? For how long?
Sure, i somehow get it, but its not very intuitive and logical to me. Would be great if that could be improved as well, while we (=you ) are at it.
