I imagine there's a different version of that in every country. For example, in Serbia it's called an "Application Exam". I'm doing it next year.

NCEA level 1 is the equivalent here (here being New Zealand).

Apparently so. I believe its what happens when you have 10 hour exams that you only have to attend 2 or so hours of.
