Garry's Mod

I could've sworn that there was a Gary's mod thread. Oh well. I'm now addicted to this game due to the Wire Mod. Basically allowing me to be being able to place range finders everywhere to track everyones position. Then post large monitors up in the middle of a plaza one saying "The ever-loving eyes of the Motherland extends it's watch over her beloved people" and then post every output from the range finders up.

But that's just my experience, anyone else play this?

Gary is some British guy, so it's irrelevant unless it's Archonsod. But the modification is for Half Life 2.

God GARRY'S mod is awesome, so many great gamemodes made to it.

It's quite fun : P there is a wiki for wire mod. There is a good tutorial on doing a timed bomb with wire. It's quite easy. I just always do it and then use it in rp : D

Never played it extensively, I'm afraid. The most fun I had was when I faffed about and acted like a twat against my friends. Tried the RP stuff, but apparently people didn't like my apartment of death. Meh.

I would definitely recommend anyone who has this game to check out the NoxiousNet servers. I used to frequent them back in the day, but gradually stopped playing them, as I didn't like the direction they were headed. It's basically a really different game mode, with classes and ****. You build a base, play CTF, or there's an arena mode, all sorts of new things I'm sure. Back in the day it was just CTF, and it was a ****ty listen server. It's come quite a ways since then.

Also, they have a pretty sweet zombie game mode.

My brother is an admin to one of the Tim's land servers and what could be better then watching him, not banning people, but freezing them, turning them into rag dolls, bending them over, and then finally launching a rocket propelled traffic cone at their ass and just leaving them there with a rocket propelled traffic cone stuck in their ass.
