Any news? I've been playing the mod for some days, love it! Would be nice if it will be continued. I made a video of the mod, but the soundtrack got mutted. :roll: Though, if you go to my channel and watch the video there, the music works. Anyway enjoy the video.

Damn, I forgot that if my 4shared went down those would go with it.  I'll try to re-upload them and update the link tonight so you can get seiging places as it was intended.  I was pretty happy with how the seiges turned out in this, even with the slightly weird non-castle locations.

As for the sub-forum, I'm hoping to get one with the final upcoming release (after the mini-mod I'm doing now) but 'till then it's not likely.  I've never asked for one yet, mind you - not sure how you go about getting one.  Best to leave it till the final version comes out anyway.

Excellent vid, mate, I will link up to it from my own Youtube vids tonight.  The music worked for me, but not the shouting or weapon sounds.  Good to see that the Buckie bottles are still magically guided straight into the enemy's crotch 9 times out of ten!  :lol:

I'm still working on the mini-mod, making polis cars, new bikes, and finishing off the scenes.  Will probably start a new thread for it in the Pioneer's Guild soon, since this thread's getting a bit cluttered and outdated now.  Plus, it's technically a separate mod. 

I'll update everything else soon as possible.

Thanks for enjoying the video. The music you hear now wasn't the song I added in the first place. I didn't know Youtube would mute "Somebody gonna get (his head kicked in tonight)". And about the Buckie Bottle, it was a lucky shot! :wink:

Some nice new titles by Fosty99 in there as well, so you'll know if you've installed it right, and a fix for when you're fighting large armies in the scene with the elevated railway bridge, so they don't all get stuck on the wall.  It's all in one patch now.  As far as I can tell, it IS savegame compatible... but if you've got a save you really don't want to lose then only transfer over the Scnobjs and Textures folder from inside the patch.  That should work fine without having to start a whole new game.

JDenef13, I tried to link my Youtube vid to yours, but I can't figure out how it's done.  I used to know, but it doesn't seem to work the same.  I'll figure it out anyway.  Glad you like the mod.  New version will be better.

Thanks Nagl.  A bit late to thank you, I know, but cheers anyway - these are all excellent - just what I need.

Why not come aboard with me when I start the junkie/zombie mini-mod for GoG, provisionally entitled "Junkie Apocalypse".  It's about Junkies being transformed into a zombie horde by Taliban/CIA heroin imported from Afghanistan, which has been spiked with chemical weapons.  It's partly based on fact:  http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/life_and_style/health/article6977946.ece


Not sure exactly when that mod will be happening, but we can collaborate on it when it does.  Many great things could be achieved.
