Man, I should try out Gothic 2, seems like it's fun... so many folks going "Mmm, Gothic 2" here. My friend said it was crap... something about lousy controls?

Anyway...

FPS: BF2 (stats dont update for me though, after I've played on ranked servers ), Operation Flashpoint, F.E.A.R. (well, it will be... just played the demo) Added: Thief 3.
RTS: Dawn of War, Rome: Total War.
Sport: ... *thinks* The last sports game I played was Fifa... always liked the Fifa games, but I played them a long time ago. Tried to break people's legs and stuff by tackling them for fun, all the time. ^_^
Online shooters: Well... BF2, too?
MMORPG: My favorite... I'd have to say Everquest. I played it for a long while, but now I'm pretty sick of it and hate it... but it's still the only MMORPG that's got me hooked (I've never tried WoW)
RPG: M&B (and I must admit that I was surprised how extremely good it is), Neverwinter Nights (I play online, by the way), Morrowind, and Baldur's Gate I and II.

yeah but its mainly 1st person. Thats how it was made. Better experienced in 1st person mode. Especially in the cradle!

Yeah, I always played Thief in 1st person. Never played the cradle though. Too scary.

hehe, i could hardly breathe whilst walking through the place. I couldn't run either incase i ran straight into a "puppet". Apart from being scary as hell its one of the best levels in the game. Probably the best infact.

FPS's: BF2 (my rank isent going up anymore, but i dont mind since i got my medic rifle yay medic class!) Numerouse HL2 mods

Strategy: Dawn of war (SPACE MARINES! ATACK!)

Sport: im too lazy to play sport

Online Games: BF2, Dawn of war, HL2 mods ( i havent played an official HL2 made game in ages, CS:S for instance)

Simulation: i generaly dont enjoy them, altho combat flight sims can be ok

MMORPG: none right now, but i have played Eve Online, World of warcraft, Guildwars, Planetside, Star wars Galaxies, Planeshift, Runescape, and probaly another. I realy would like to go back to playing one of them but i end up getting bored of the repetitiveness and eldles grinding. but i think out of all of them Planetside was my fave. WoW is just mindless grinding for lifeless people and jerk who call you a noob for using your classes skills. eg "OMG you hunter! you cant use mail! stop rolling youthief IN NEED!" "actully im past lvl 40 so i can infact use mail. hence the helmet and gauntlets you dumm ****" or "OMG paladins suck you just heal n ****!" "well that is what thier class does. nobody complains at you for using sneak"

RPG: Mount and Blade, ElderScrolls 3: Morrowind (and its 2 expansions + mods)

Everquest for MMORPG's. Been playing on and off(more on than off) for 5 years. (always looking for new contacts in game....seventh hammer)

Not much into FPS's. Find it to repetative and become easily bored with them, although Battlefield Vietnam is quite good.

Flight sim...dabble with IL2. Any decent new releases out there?

Is it a good game? Do you get to fight the naval battles?

Darkard, I played Planeshift a little as well. But the only thing you could do then in the beta was killing rats over and over again, and usually there weren't any roleplayers online.

Enjoy? Startopia. Baldurs Gate (BG2 and IWD/IWDII to lesser extents), PlaneScape: Torment and NWN if it's in MP (or SPing the expansions). Warcraft 3 and WH40K Dawn of War. Pharaoh, Freedom force, Dungeon Keeper, Tropico, Worms, Zoo Tycoon and Black & White.

And, under no circumstances whatsoever, do I like The Sims. I've never even PLAYED it. The closest I have come to playing The Sims is getting bored of Sim City 3K after 10 mins of play.
