Judging from the trailers i'd say that you can download any game of your choice,although i could be wrong and that they choose which games are free to download.

Either way i say its a pretty damn good offer even if we have to watch stupid adverts.

Even if this flops after a month or two, that's still a month or two of free gaming. I see no problem here for the consumer.

If they actually able to sustain this with ads, it'll be bloody amazing. I wouldn't have a problem of even a 10-minute ad before playing. I'd just let the thing play 10 minutes before I intend on actually playing the game, and then come back when it's done.

As I understand it they should be able to. Bear in mind this is a rental rather than ownership deal - you can have up to three "free" games in your GG account at any one time. If you want more, you need to relinquish one. I think they're intending to offer the whole catalogue too (publisher agreements pending).

First, this service sounds excellent for someone like me, who is probably only trying out one "non-core" game at a time anyway.
Second, I thoroughly endorse your use of quotes around "free" there...uses like this make the use of the caveat "free, as in beer" more and more necessary.
