In Progress Game worked fine for two days, now crashes at launch (white screen)

Hello, maybe this could help pinpoint what can cause whitescreening? In my case the game worked fine for two days, with maybe 2 crashes during play.

Today the game won't launch. In the meantime patch 1.02 came out, and as far as i know nothing else happened.

I'll welcome any help, thank you!

Same thing for me.

Was working fine on launch day, played a few hours with one or two crashes. Since then I am unable to start the game with the white screen and then crash on second loading screen.

Same here for me. Worked fine for two days.

Now launcher starts but the game itself neither singleplayer nor multiplayer makes it past the first loading screen.

Pop up says D3D failed "rglGPU_device::create_texture_from_image failed". DxDiag says everthing is fine. GPUDriver on latest version.

Any suggestions?

To anyone with this issue running windows 7, try this:

I finally managed to fix it. Someone posted on the Steam forums that Windows 7 users may need to install update KB2670838. This has worked for me (Windows 7 64-bit, Nvidia GTX 770).

Right, try deleting:
C:\ProgramData\Mount and Blade II Bannerlord
and
C:...\Documents\Mount and Blade II Bannerlord\Game Saves

See if that helps.

EDIT (actually just delete the entire C:...\Documents\Mount and Blade II Bannerlord\ folder)

Right-click on the desktop shortcut > Properties > Shortcut Tab > Advanced Properties

Nope, I had no pop up at all, not even crash uploader or anything. Just straight back to desktop.

I somehow fixed it by cleanly reinstalling the GPU driver 3 times, uninstalling every version of MSVisual C++ Redist on my system and only installing the latest x86 and x64. also repaired the .NET Core.

I could also enter my saved games. Lets see how this goes on.

Hello, can you please make sure that the game itself and all of your drivers and software required for this game are up to date? If you are playing through Steam verifying the integrity of the game files might help. There is also a new patch for the game, so please update me if your problem is solved after the new patch, too.
You can follow this link for the required software dependencies. If you can share your PC specs i am sure it will speed up the fixing process. Meanwhile, i will inform the devs about the issue.

Hello, the game finally ended up working before the new patch, I forgot to mark the problem solved. What solved it was one of two things if not the combination of both:
- I installed geforce experience and launched it through it, possibly after it dowloaded the latest drivers for my nvidia GPU (i'm not sure if it did or if i already had these latest drivers)
- I chose the "safe mode" option that appears after the game crashes and you try to launch it again

Absolutely, the game is already gorgeous in so many aspects and so promising, it feels to me like it only needs some adjustments to polish it into a masterpiece, and you guys are doing great to help the community. Your efforts are very appreciated, good luck with the launch-period rush, cheers!
