Exactly. Other crashes can wait, bug fixes can wait. First make sure that everyone that meets the spec requirements is able to launch the game.

At this point I'd love to see some ingame bugs/crashes myself. But I cannot reach the stupid main menu.
 
iwould Request a Refound but I cant Because of the "Time Play" but I haven't even played the game
Just Hoping to enter the Game everytime but it just keep Comming op with Application Crash

If I go for a refund I'll explain that the "time played" counts all the crashes and time spent not playing the game but being stuck on loading screens and in game launcher and in bug reporting tool. I'd still rather have the game fixed. :sad:

I'M ****ING SICK. I am just tired of trying to play the goddamn game. I am frustrated. Warband is my favourite game, and I want to play bannerlord, but I guess the devs don't want us to.

Well, they do, of course ahah. I am just pissed for buying the game on launch and after these three days and these three hot fixes, the game just keeps crashing. Hope after our discussion here, the devs might concentrate on making the game just ****ing playable.

The only thing that makes me to NOT request a refund is the fact that I bought it with 20 percent discount (and I know I will eventually buy it again). So, ib3atudown, I do not recomend you to request a refund for the same reason. Unless you intend to buy it on a steam sale of course.

Another thing that pisses me off is the fact that I have two completely different computers, and the SAME crash happens on BOTH computers. What the hell?!

The fixes published on the other post referred in this forum page, do not work for me aswell. I decided to re-install the game. Let's what happens...

Ps: I've been thinking, are we actually running the latest updated? Because the launcher says that the current version is e1.0.0, yet, on the "Mods" tab, all versions are shown. Which one are we actually running?

I've reinstalled the game 4 times and not a single thing changed, not saying it'll maybe fix it for you but I wouldn't waste your time

I have the same feeling. Another day hoping that tomorrow this problem is fixed...

I factory reset my computer twice and un installed then re installed the game at least 4 times there is no fix for this issue and I see the same, my launcher is still in 1.0.0
 
The launcher remains the same version however in mods drop down you should see version 1.0.2

Also everyone understands your frustration but kicking off about it in the forums and making an ass out of yourself doesn't achieve anything. The devs are more than likely well aware of your predicament. And like you have rightly said it is no easy fix. But you aren't helping them.

Well what else can we do to help the devs? We posted our error logs on forums and uploaded them via ingame tool. We made several topics with detailed descriptions, screenshots, hardware specs, software specs, methods we tried etc etc.

And then the community manager responded with "Did you try the suggested fixes in this thread? https://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php?threads/game-failing-crashing-at-launch.397007/".

We all tried those fixes and many other fixes over and over again for the past 3 days. People here have 2+ hours of game time spent on constant crashes and loading screens trying different solutions, reinstalling game or even reinstalling their operating systems.

And yet it seems devs didn't even bother to read any of our reports and responded with some basic "try to turn it on and off".

All we ask for is that they recognize people are having those issues. If they would add a simple "we are aware that many of you cannot even start the game or enter the main menu and we are working on a fix" to the patch notes, we wouldn't be so upset. But right now we have good reasons to think that devs are ignoring us and fixing some silly stuff like how much gold some workshops are producing.

You want a fix which is understandable but fixes for errors like this do not happen over night. Maybe stop flaming one of the most dedicated developement teams there is and just be grateful they are working on it for you.

I could play the game yesterday and then today it stopped working. I get a white screen, and then the loading screen and then it just closes out with no message.

And have already released 3 fixes for a brand new game? In early access. Which you bought into knowing the risks.
The game has many problems. Not just the one you are experiencing. Although I suppose if you could play the game you would know that.

I would say I am sorry your game doesn't work but in reality the way you are acting makes me think you deserve it.
 
I'm also having this issue. Crashed due to some other issue today, then attempted to restart the game after waiting for a few minutes and can't get past the initial loading screen anymore. The splashscreen videos don't even play. Tried rolling back to 1.0.1 and 1.0.0 and still nothing. Tried reinstalling, nothing.

One curious thing that I've noticed however is that if I turn on my VPN, the game sits at that loading screen for 2 to 3 times longer before finally closing with no error message or logs to be uploaded.

i believe it shows the native module version which is 1.0.0 in the patches so its ok

They didn't even list our unsolved startup crash as a known issue in the sticky thread.
They pretend there is no problem.

Yeah I would actually love to play the freaking game and experience those other bugs, crashes and problems. That is all I'm asking for.
