Upon first time installation of bannerlord, my PC froze up at the second half of first time setup during and and I had to do a hard reset.
(I don't know if this matters but its how this whole situation began)
Before you direct me to the manual installs for the C++ redistributable's, I've tried that.
I think under most circumstances those fixes are probably great, but for whatever reason, I can't launch the game without encountering this dialogue:
"The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable."
Click OK to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing this installation package
'vc_runtimeMinimum_x86.msi' in the box below"
Anyway, you can pick any folder with any version of Microsoft Visual C++ 2019 X86 Minimum Runtime in it including the one it specifies(14.24.28127 or 12.10.25008, depending on where you get in the rest of the dialogue) that its looking for and it won't accept it.
The 12.10.25008 seems to be associated with windows 7 so I have no idea what that has to do with anything.
And the strangest part about all of this is that if you just hit cancel or close the window, the launcher still pops up and you can launch the game.
I've even played for a few hours and it seems to run fine, but I have not idea if its just a ticking time bomb or this is a frivolous window.
I've fully uninstalled the game and reinstalled it, I've uninstalled an reinstalled the recommended C++ redistributables that are linked in the support forum, nothing gets rid of this prompt.
I have no idea what it is or what it means, but I figured I'd report its existence. Anybody else have this issue?
