Need More Info Game save causes freezing then crash to desktop

Users who are viewing this thread

I have multiple saves going a little while back and each one of them eventually freezes then crashes to desktop if you stay in the game long enough.
It doesn't matter what you're doing, whether you're 1x speed standing still, 2x speed. Or waiting in a city/village. Eventually the game crashes.
This is my first time getting into mount and blade singleplayer, and I've spend ~30 hours on this save so far, it would be a huge bummer if I couldn't keep using it, and would be hard to get back into the game knowing this could just happen again.

Currently doing the conspiracy quest, I think it's crashed before a few times related to it, although I was always able to keep playing.

Game purchased on steam

Things tried:
-Removing parties from clan
-Starting a siege
-Trying the save file on multiple game versions
-Trying the save file on a different computer
-Changing compatibility modes of EXEs around
-Disabling overlays from both Steam and Geforce
-Verifying game files through steam
-Deleting game files/configs/programdata files, redownloading game through Steam

Version: e.1.0.1, e1.0.6, e1.0.7 (all crash just the same)
OS: Windows 10
GPU: GTX 1080
GPU Driver: Nvidia 445.75
CPU: Intel i7 7700K @ 4.20GHz (not overclocked)

Motherboard: ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. Z170 PRO GAMING/AURA (LGA1151)

Save file in question (hopefully I am allowed to post this): https://drive.google.com/open?id=1kjeTNcJ6-8X0z_60YCiA0Bz9ZHOQOjX6

Please let me know if I should provide any other infomration

Me too. It's possible a problem related to the SSD ? 'cause I used to have the game on normal hard disc and it work until version 1.0.6, and when I moved to SSD for have a faster response to the loading phase, It doesn't work anymore with 1.0.6 version and 1.0.7 and I tried to move to the 1.0.5 but nothing.

Hello, sorry for the late reply. We have fixed a considerable amount of the problems we have encountered so far and improved the game performance with the multiple patches we have released. Please make sure that your game, your drivers, and OS are up to date and the game has necessary permissions over your security software. Please let us know if the problem persists after completing these steps and verifying the integrity of the game files through Steam.
