When the diplomacy for the Dorne and Vale turn on(+smaller factions like Cracklaw Point or Sisters)?
The Westerlands, Riverlands, North, Reach and Stormlands are enabled after "Renly captured Kings Landing" message, Iron Islands soon later, but what about the rest? Also it's normal that ai factions ignore player's faction(unless i attack them or so)?

Is there any chance of unlocking the upstab, upthrust and overhead stabbing? (that was in WFAS, VC and Napoleonic Wars)

https://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php/topic,353520.msg8491778.html

I tried to do it on my own, but the mod is already using one animation slot in question for something else (playing a harp or something like that, I think?), which makes it impossible unless I delete something else, like the pike bracing and insert it there.

I am especially interested in the spear/polearm overstabs (and with shields), which is very useful in tight quarters or when trying to keep a distance while you have someone in front of you, since in vanilla Warband you can stab only from the lower position with a polearm/spear.

So I have several saves for it, and despite some really questionably stupid additions and loads of constant bugs, I still enjoy it, primarily for the GoT world. I have been messing around alot with the save game editor to allow for the war of 5 kings to not be so one sided and all. On one of my saves, where I didn't use the save game editor, I am at day 422 and all 3 invasions have already happened. On my one that I have used the save game editor, it is day 419 and not a single one has happened. I am trying to see if there is a way I can trigger an invasion using the save game editor or not. I tried granting a fief to Mance Rayder, and he owns it but it still belongs to the Nights Watch and the Free Folk nor Mance Rayder are actually in the world.

I just really want the invasions to happen and want to know if using the save game editor to make certain factions at war and at peace messes up the invasions and if I can trigger them at all. Thanks,

~Covalt/Eagle Eye

Also, I want to basically have a giant 2 sided Essos war and giant Westorsi war, with the invasions. Sisteron was taken over by The Vale and Braavos got steamrolled by Norvos, is there a way to bring any factions back with the editor?

Having an issue with my companions suddenly wanting to leave after day 300. No issues before. Is this a trigger? Specifically it is only my archers (Garrett Longley and Lyneria, I think) plus the intelligence based guys (Saathos, Brynden Storm etc.) I waited in a town for a while and nothing happened. Not a budge in morale. I have the companions like/dislike each other option disabled. The infantry/cavalry guys are all at 99 morale, except for Roderick, I think. Any ideas? Any way to just disable companion morale or wanting to leave? TweakMB doesn't work for ACOK.

The "Disable companion complaints" option does not disable their dislikes, it just disables their TALKS about dislikes.

You probably recruited an additional companion, whom someone disliked, and it tipped balance over.

There are ways to disable their dislikes, yes.

One I've successfully used for ACOK is a bit tedious - you have to open your savegame in a savegame editor and for every companion "troop" edit three "slots" which describe who they dislike (make it "0") and who they like (make it some of them). Also, of course, this involves a risk of breaking your game...

There is also another way, but it is described as working for VC, and I did NOT tests it for ACOK: http://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php/topic,323613.msg7900123.html#msg7900123

Hi guys has anyone found the new quest "The Disappeared"? Where/How do I start it?

For anyone who wants to know heres info on how to find the other new quests in 4.1.

https://www.reddit.com/r/AClashOfKings/comments/6o6c3b/has_anyone_found_any_of_the_new_quests_in_41/

The funny thing is I'm running the game with companion interaction disabled. Not just the complaints, but the actual negative effects of them not liking each other. I think this is an option you can select when you start a new game. Either way, the unhappy companions are all happy about my choice of companions, but appalled at my style of leadership and how things are going. Since it's only the archer and intelligence specialists (plus that Roderick ****er), I thin it's about fighting too many battles. However, two weeks rest in a city did nothing to even budge morale for these guys.

Thing is, I wouldn't mind managing this part of the game, if I had some idea what the problem was and how I could solve it!

In the meantime I used this cheat:

https://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php/topic,254993.0.html

You change a value in simple_triggers.txt and it seems to work. No one asked to leave in two weeks.  But I'd still love to know the mechanics of the companion happiness system. I ran the cheat after Brynden Storm left, and he was a level 7 in trainer, wound treatment and pathfinding (ouch). I miss you Bryndi!

Has anyone run into Kingswood Outlaws? I've travelled around the forested areas near Storm's End again and again but never encountered any of the new bandit type.

So for Anyone wondering about where to start the new quests here you go:

The Disappeared: Breakstone hill and then Highpoint (both are castles in the far north)

Where is Lord Beric: Harrenhal

Brotherhood of the Winged Knights: Gates of the Moon castle (right next to the Eyrie in the Vale)

The Kings Attention: Kings Landing (its a "follow up" to Hear me Roar given by Tyrion Lannister)

The Lights: Lordsport then Hammerhorn (Iron Islands)

I think this tweak causes problems when one sends companions on missions (they never return).

Yes, few times near King's Landing.

You can try to mess with morale system in general - increase morale bonus from being a king etc - it should apply for regular troops and companions, and i think it can be done by using the current version of TweakMB too.

Ok, i played a little more and turns out that after the second invasion(first Free Folk, then Targaryens, no Dothrakis yet) all the factions are enabled for free diplomacy(i noticed that the Sisters, Dorne and the Vale started to make trade pacts or alliances. Night's Watch and Cracklaw Point are "no more" ;D).
But my faction is still ignored unless i declare the war to someone and their allies declare war on me.
Is that normal? Not only all the pacts are rejected(good relations with both the leader and faction), but no one even bother to attack me. I have King's Landing(taken from the Stormlands shortly before their destruction) as capital + two castles of Cracklaw Point, 99 right to rule and four vassals(two mercenaries and two regular).

...Also i find it absurd that all the girls' facial texture is the same and doesn't age, it makes the game unrealistic. You can't even have the Black Pearl of Braavos or Olenna because of it. It'll be interesting if the Iron throne room have more feature, like guards or some characters instead of empty boring hallway. Even better if its back as the city's keep scene.

With some tweaking you can revert female face meshes and textures to native ones...
That's what I did.
Please teach me how to do it via PM, i would really loved doing that.
Yeah, me too. These faces are all old women with makeup.

You will need OpenBrf software. Search for it on these forums.
Make a copy of Your_Warband_Folder/CommonRes/meshes_face_gen.brf and name it meshes_face_gen_native_female_head.brf
Leave that copy in the same Your_Warband_Folder/CommonRes/ folder.
Open that copy with OpenBrf software.
Delete everything in the file except "female_head".
Rename "female_head" to "fac_female_head".
Save and close the file.

Make a backup copy of Your_Warband_Folder/Modules/Acok X.X/Resource/min_fac_face.brf
Open Your_Warband_Folder/Modules/Acok X.X/Resource/min_fac_face.brf with OpenBrf software.
Delete fac_female_head from it.
Save and close the file.

Make a backup copy of Your_Warband_Folder/Modules/Acok X.X/module.ini
Open it (original module.ini, not the backup) in any text editor.
In the "#Faces" section add a string:
load_resource = meshes_facegen_native_female_head
Save and close the file.

Now you will need to replace several texture files in Your_Warband_Folder/Modules/Acok X.X/Textures/ folder.
You can take those files in Your_Warband_Folder/Textures/ folder. There they are named
1. woman_normalmap.dds - One file
2. woman_old_normalmap.dds - One file
3. womanface_SOMETHING.dds - Five files
4. womanface_SOMETHING_aged.dds - Five files
As you can see, they constitute FIVE sets of files.

Now you will need to make TEN sets of FOUR files each including a copy of file 1 and file 2 (they are the same for each set, but named differently) and copies of files 3 and 4.
However, since you need 10 sets of files now, you will have to use duplicates of files of 3 and 4 twice.

OK. You will need to make copies of native textures into module textures and name them:
First set:
womanface_a.dds (copy of native file 3)
womanface_a_aged.dds (copy of native file 4)
womanface_a_nm.dds (copy of native file 1)
womanface_a_aged_nm.dds (copy of native file 2)

Other 9 sets begin with files named as follows, and for other three files of a set add  "_aged", "_nm", "_aged_nm" in the end of a file's name:
womanface_african.dds
womanface_b.dds
womanface_brown.dds
womanface_c.dds
womanface_d.dds
womanface_e.dds
womanface_f.dds
womanface_g.dds
womanface_young.dds

Now make two sets of two files from native textures, named as

female_face_shireen.dds (copy of native file 3)
female_face_shireen_aged.dds (copy of native file 4)

female_face_valyrian.dds (copy of native file 3)
female_face_valyrian_aged.dds (copy of native file 4)

Remember, you take files from Your_Warband_Folder/Textures/ folder and copy them under names above into Your_Warband_Folder/modules/ACOK X.X/Textures/ folder.

Now copy
woman_normalmap.dds
woman_old_normalmap.dds
from Your_Warband_Folder/Textures/ into Your_Warband_Folder/Modules/ACOK X.X/Textures/

You are ready to go with native women in ACOK.

EDIT: You will have to overwrite texture files. So make backups of them.

So, say I want to use face textures from another mod like Virake's Face Replacer Compilation rather than revert to Native textures. Do I just need to follow your guide, but replace the native resources with the ones I want to add from the mod? Or do I need to make ACoK read the files directly? Sorry if that doesn't make sense, I just have been trying for hours to get Virake's to work in ACoK and my attempts have resulted in either crashing on start-up, faces that look like they've been put through a blender, or the shiny-white half face bug. No clue what I'm doing wrong and I have had no luck finding someone who is willing to do a compatibility patch. Your post was incredibly helpful at getting me started, I just am missing some vital key to understanding how this all works.
