I'm pretty sure they will automatically gain fiefs now. Quite a number of fiefs will defect to the Targaryen faction when the invasion starts.
I've never tried marrying Aegon. Generally you can't marry faction leaders. They will tell you that they "have other plans for their children." I've married a claimant though, but I tried it with a male character, and that was in Gekokujo.

...well, that's good news. That was the case in 2.X, and I know it changed in the 4-5 range. Glad to hear it's back.

I can't tell you how much time I spent playing that mod; I even "beta-tested" 3.0 when it was released. Looking through my old comments, that was really the last time I touched M& B.

It's one of the mods where combat feels really good. It's very important because good-feeling combat makes you enjoy the grind. Gekokujo stabs feel powerful thanks to that overhead spear stab, something I wish ACOK would implement too. ACOK's combat also feels good in its own way (realistic with armor), and I really appreciate the efforts spent to make spears viable. Again though, I'd love to have that overhead stab in ACOK. Unfortunately animation is something I can't mod in myself.

@Cozur
Speaking of combat, I have a little suggestion. I just had fun role playing as a knight-to-be under Edmure Tully. I had to grind in the arena to get the skill points needed for promotion, and while the combat was really fun, I think the EXP rewards for each kill and the victory are way too low. It's 8-12 EXP per kill, and 200 EXP for victory. Would you consider pumping that a bit in the future?

The arena is challenging enough as a leveling ground, especially since enemies sometimes team up against you, so I think it deserves higher EXP rewards. I don't think people will exploit it, because fighting real enemies is still a better source of rewards, since real battles give you loot and EXP for your whole party. Increasing the arena's EXP rewards will make it an interesting past time, especially for freelancers.

Version 7.1 and the wights STILL do not have proper voices. And to think that Warband had zombies that sound like zombies should.

I was really delighted to see a SKELETAL wight among the fleshy ones =D

EDIT:
Is the Fist Of The First Men battle supposed to be won by the player?

Honestly I don't think it is.

Back in 6.0 I went there with my day 500+ god-like character and a party of full plated valyrian steel wielding companions plus 180-200 heavy knights and still lost the fight. Some wights just do insane amounts of damage, basically killing knights in two hits.

Well, they are slow now, so I could basically ride around and poke them with a pike infinitely (stole courser from a night's watch rider by ordering him to dismount).
There are also "safe" spots where one could stand on one side of the wall and the wights are gathered on the other, ready for pike-poking.

But it seems new wights spawn when old ones are killed... And they spawned behind me... I had to play dead in the snow!

Anyone else try editing with Morgh's yet? After editing I get a bug where I gain massive amounts of exp every second.

I would suggest editing without Morgh's then. They say it is possible (with Notepad), just not so convenient.

ACOK 7.1 Bugs Summary:

1. Player's party becomes Jaime Lannister's party after doing the Brothers Quest.

This can be avoided by:

i) By a Moddb user (andrew010), about the quest "Brothers" : Update: I just had the "Brothers" quest bug in 7.1 and it seems, that Brotherhood without banners/Lost knowledge/Blessed ring quest has something to do with it. When I finished those quests before Brothers quest, the bug did happen. Then I loaded save and finished Brothers quest first and the bug did not happen.

ii) If you could not do i), then use the following guide to edit the save-game (credit to Sergio_Morozov): https://www.reddit.com/r/AClashOfKings/comments/br1yl9/siege_bug/

2. Old Oak Exterior - Prison

By user Sergio_Morozov:

7.1 Old Oak Exterior does not have access to the Prison. A Passage (Menu Item 7, Entry Point 0) must be added into the scene.

3. [NEED CONFIRMATION] Unable to siege the following:

-  Dyre Den
- Brownhollow
- All Lorath keeps

Error: Siege Ladders cannot be built.

" I have an engineer at 7, go to besiege either of the castles, says making ladders will take 28 hours, sit there and wait, and wait, and wait. I've let it go for about 2 weeks as time flies by on super speed while the ladders should be getting made. But it never happens, just days pass on and on until it eventually just stops. The text log will pop up that the castle is no longer under siege for whatever reason."

Why are all show items so... ridiculously cheap? :???: It beats the point of progression and looking forward to that new piece of equipment. If you can get a 54 armor chainmail for 1800 gold in the beginning of the game, you can bet your ass something is not right. The most expensive items seem to amount to an average of about 3500 gold. There is no point in getting loot or in changing equipment throughout the course of the game if I can get pretty much the highest value armors at the beginning of the game, within the first five minutes.

The new tournaments, while a nice addition ( I haven't been to enough to confirm that the old ones are not present still) are nothing more than an exploit given how easy it is to actually fight 1v1. On highest difficulty.

Don't think I'm going to play this mod ever again unless this is fixed/changed. The mod literally gets worse with every patch. 1 step forward two steps back. Every goddamn time. Another example, albeit banal, is the removal of some of the flavor NPCs that had dialogue in the Vale Tournament quest. In favor of what? New closed tent props that weren't at all what this mod needs. Bah.

EDIT:

So I have checked it. The just about best armors can be obtained for 8300 gold which in the grand scheme of things is absolutely low. Its literally one village raid and voila. And the absolute best reinforced plate armor with a spiffin 87 armor value can be obtained for measly 15 000 gold! These things used to cost 120 000 gold at the very LEAST.

I don't understand. The prices of items in your mod was actually perfect all along. While the economy had some glaring problems it was money making and trade that needed an overhaul, not the price of items.

Congratulations for just removing any and all incentives to loot and to strategically save up money for end game items. There are no items to look forward to in the endgame. No dopamine release from the small chance of getting a really good and rare item after defeating a lord. It is all meaningless now. All it takes is two tournaments, very easily cheesed through and I can get whatever I want. It sucks. Why oh *WHY* fix what is not broken? Rather why break it. I will never understand your philosophy.

If you don't like the mod then don't play! Valid criticism is not allowed!

On a more serious note: I do notice this a lot but that's just the reality of modding. You can deal with it or try and tweak it for yourself. Unfortunately even Morgh's no longer seems to work with ACOK and I like modifying the companions into my friends and editing troop trees to my liking but now there's no reason for me to bother. What's funny is I wanted to play ACOK out of disappointment of the TV show then just ended up disappointed twice in one day lol

I somewhat agree with items being too cheap, but only on the quality scaling. The price of a tempered sword is only slightly higher than its basic version, and that's too cheap. Personally I like the base prices. It helps me get started in early game, and it makes it easier to equip my companions. I mostly play honorable characters, so I don't raid villages and get too rich for the game. The high wage and unit upgrade costs keep me reasonably spent.

If the issue is the lack of end-game content to spend money on, I think increasing the price difference for different qualities can solve it. You still can survive in the early game, and still have high quality items to look for in the end game.

Still on items, I think the 14 STR requirement for helmets is too high. A helmet is not that heavy and shouldn't require that much strength. The problem is that there are no lower quality helmets that you can wear before you or your companions get 14 STR, which is pretty damn high for INT characters. Decreasing the requirements for mail coif tier helmets to 10 or 12 would be great.

By the way, what do you guys think about the Riverlands Troop Tree having only 1 tier of archers? I have never personally tested them. Are they good enough to fill their role?

Trade and trading routes are completly broken in 7.1 ((
Someone already mentioned this at moddb.

________________________________

In 7.1 there is nothing like in 6.2 where are trading routes, for example buying salt in Saltpans, selling wool in Maidenpol, buying fur in White harbor and Sisterton etc etc. It was great and very logical. Now in 7.1 there were some bags of salt in Saltpans but it was expensive, White Harbor and Sisterton - some random normal price things, Maidenpol? - crazy amount of gold chalice, idk if it happens randomly or what. In 6.2 selling gold chalice in Lorath was a great business and ofc I checked it by buying a lot of them in Maidenpol and selling in Lorath and it had no sense, now they are not expensive there. Prices of goods in different cities are similar so I think that trade is completly broken or bugged and, for me, it makes 7.1 unplayable.

One more thing. I miss weapons and goods details (advantages and disadvantages) and prices/base prices below statistics when you put your cursor on it. I think it was very helpful in 6.2. It completly dissapeared in 7.1

Goodbrook Lord's Hall scene has some weirdness (probably mismatch between the scene file and terrain code.)

[EDIT] to fix it,  in scenes.txt find

插入代码块:
scn_castle_160_interior castle_160_interior 1 interior_castle_y bo_interior_castle_y -100.000000 -100.000000 100.000000 100.000000 -100.000000 0

and change it to

插入代码块:
scn_castle_160_interior castle_160_interior 1 dungeon_entry_a bo_dungeon_entry_a -100.000000 -100.000000 100.000000 100.000000 -100.000000 0

Please revert the whole economy, equipment and trade goods all, to how things were in 6.2. This version's economy is really not an improvement Cozur. In any way.

Dunno, I like how I get a profit of ~500 from dyeworks in every city, and ~1500 from ironworks in Lannisport.

[EDIT#2]

By the way, you can look up what the economy values are via a SaveGame Editor, and provide more detailed suggestions.
(Since, I would assume, plain "change it back" suggestions have 100% probability to be ignored.)

[EDIT#1]

Oh, and totally unrelated - Armory and Item Pool will eat items equippable by Castellan and Seneschal still. So PSA -

Do not store anything equippable in the Armory and Item Pool.

[EDIT#3]

Disparity in comma usage rules between Russian and English is killing me!

Is it possible to edit a city's specialty goods without the source code? Or the price modifier for each quality flag for that matter. Those two are the only gripes I have with the economy. I'm happy with the base prices or how the economy feels in general. It's neither too easy or too hard.

On the bright side tho, I learned how to tweak animations and managed to implement the overhead spear stab animations last night. Now everyone can stab gooder.
