I don't like the scene battle in snow area, I suppose its only one and there is always a hill in front of troops and they can't get in there in time to shoot some arrows so I have to wait on the edge of the map if I want some shooting. Can I somehow turn back the old scenes?

Haha that storm knight helmet looks so ****ing retarded, it reminds me of a small beetlejuice head.

Incessant talking.

Just a pointer, you have been nothing other than a pain in my ass on Moddb, so nothing you say will be read by me. You might as well not make the effort.

Hallo. Sorry for being a "blind id*ot", but I can't seem to find "Illyrios Manse" - neither in map view nor in the List of Locations - also I were wondering in circles around the Pentos in map view...
At least in the Circle I drawed I could not find that place...

Can Anyone make a screenshot and give the link with it?

Beforehand - Thank you.

Thanks I read it and I feel like a dummy.. Is there any statistics of when the "Dynamic conquest"begins?

I've heard varying accounts, but generally it's around day 150-200 that the wildlings come in and around 300 when the Targaryens attack.

Good god, where the hell did all the color go, and why does everything look like it's smeared in crap? Virtually everything is now some shade of brown.

In one of the update articles it says he was going for a 'more dark and used look' to the world. But I agree a lot of the remaining armors look quite bland, a glaring example being the Reach knights going from colorful and highly decorative to just men in grey steel and Vale knights wearing the rusty-looking armor that used to be worn by Dragonstone knights in previous patches.

I noticed a lot of the more 'colorful' armors still exist in the files and are labelled for units not currently in the game but were perhaps intended to be used at a later update.

Anyways, I like most of the NEW content that's been added but here's my critiques of the mod's current incarnation:

1. High saturation causes strange lighting, sunsets overly red and sometimes there's a strange greenish tinge to the world.

2. Music is still repetitive, some more variety is needed.

3. Even less variety in armors and weapons now. When I look into the files, there are tons of unused assets that look great. Why not bring them back?

4. The Essos troops lack any distinct characteristics, the troop trees don't make a whole lot of sense either, especially lore-wise. While the Free Cities use slaves, the majority of their fighting forces are sellswords. I'd like to make the suggestion of making their armies made up of three groups: slave soldiers, sellswords and citizen troops. Sellswords being the bulk, slave soldiers being a fodder type force and the citizen troops being more elite types but fewer in number. Of course, not all cities would use slaves.

5. 'Dark and more used look' is fine, but dark and used doesn't necessarily removing color. The previous patch already had that atmosphere down, and it made sense that bandits and sellswords would wear more drab looking clothes, but now everyone does too.

Except Westeros is canonically filled with color, with the show being some incredibly strange take on them that typically wholly diverges from the books themselves, but even then has color in it. It also doesn't look more "used" because the real middle ages looked like a tie-dye  festival as color was how you showed status. Bleaching everything brown doesn't increase quality or really any theme... it just looks nonsensical and not even like A Song of Ice and Fire.

Not to mention that without heraldry, telling Stormlanders apart from Reachmen is a PIA that often leads to me chasing after one of my own men without realizing it, or worse yet sniping a friendly in the head. Color is essential to ANYTHING involving the middle ages, or a fantasy setting based on the middle ages (with ASOIAF being a fantasy world deeply inspired by GRRM's background in pulp fiction and the War of the Roses, along with various other things smattered around outside of the era). If only to just tell which guy is the one you're trying to kill.

Also, just noticed that for some reason wearing some of the stormland helmets leads to it being worn by my foot, instead of the helmet being on my head.

Not sure why you're telling me this, I already stated my support for more colors.

On the matter of colors: I think overwriting new textures with textures from older versions will make items present in older versions colorful.
