"Testing armors" is my current excuse for playing cRPG and not working on this mod. This is ideally the armor/weapon combination I have in my head for the Stark House guard or whatever, at least that's what's indicated in the show. The standard troops would carry and assortment of shields and other weapon combinations.

Nice one Bilwit, when I PM'd you regarding the current Warband helmet that would fit the Northmen, that is exactly it. Looks better then I imagined. +1 mate. Buzzing for the release with these armors.

Is this the right place to report an error? If so, mine is a runtime error. A lot of times my game crashes after lagging in a battle, but sometimes I survive the first battle after starting warband and the game crashes during the second so it's not every battle. I have warband 1.53 and ACOK 0.93. Computer should be good enough I think, I was running the game flawlessy on my laptop which is not as good as the desktop. Anyways, specs:

Well your computer is fine, i have also less memory on my laptop . But it could be some game problems . Did u try to reinstall the game and mod ? Are other games crashing to you ? Also install new drivers for your card ! Try little lower game settings ! Check did you downloaded fully your mod and did you installed it propertly ! Check directX update !
I don't know more, search on google more for this .

I updated all drivers. I reinstalled warband. I even installed latest runtime. directX is updated. I started a new game, played the first quest, before the next battle the game crashed with a runtime error- the application has requested to terminate runtime in an unusual way I'm trying to find something on google but no luck so far, if anyone has any idea or suggestions, please help.

Lower grapichs and before you launch clash of kings but you only launched warband go to options and then go and change Directx to 7 it might help.

I've been looking for several hours now. I'm unable to find a troop upgrade tree that can show me the future upgrades. More specifically I've been serving Riverlands for 100 days and I'm swordsman, haven't had a promotion in a long time, so I wonder if this is my end here.

As I understand the troop tree has been removed? Does anyone have the reference, I need to know whether I should keep in service or go my own ways. I'm hoping to go into a horse-ride rank at some point with lance etc. Also is there a way to "reset" this enlistment rank, like say I don't want to be a spearman anymore but would rather go in way of archer?

I don't think you can enlist as a serjeant to be honest. You can always start a new game go up to some random guy and check if you need to do it from the beginning. And for the changing, you can talk to your lord and say 'I wish to change tier' or something like that. It will set you back a level or so but will make you be able to go to archer/crossbow etc.

So I accidentally permanently deleted all the models and textures from both my computer and backup server. Luckily, Cozur had downloaded a copy just before the incident. Note to self: don't mess with file name conflicts and shared folder syncs

I don't think you can enlist as a serjeant to be honest. You can always start a new game go up to some random guy and check if you need to do it from the beginning. And for the changing, you can talk to your lord and say 'I wish to change tier' or something like that. It will set you back a level or so but will make you be able to go to archer/crossbow etc.

It doesn't have to be form the beginning. I just want to upgrade to horse to some point, and so far the furthest been is swordsman. Also I can't find the option that you talk of, there is nothing such as "change tier" etc.

I found a bug about Ironborn Axeman . Well Ironborn spearmen- Veteran Ironborn spearman-Elite ironborn spearman - Ironborn Axeman , and there's no more upgrades , Axemen week wage is 1 and i can't uggrade him anymore . But i found few ironborn prisioners Ironborn retiner  and they have more upgrades but  Axeman is below them i think but he's not showing any upgrades more . Archers working fine .

Aight so I'm a little confused.

Let's say I create a new character, it's level 1, I go talk to whatever Lord and all he offers me is Levy rank. That is fine, I train from Levy > Pikeman > Glavieman > Elite Glavie > Swordsman. After Swordsman I have played for 100 days still no promotion and the report says "XP to next promotion: N/A". So I assume that Swordsman is maybe the end of the line?
Now what happens, I'm level 25 and swordsman, I retire from the lords army and talk to him again, he is willing to hire me as a swordsman once more, but that is the only option I have. If I speak to a Lord of another faction he is willing to hire me as a Levy, giving me crappy armor and the ranking system starts all over again. (Even my starter armor is better than Levy armor, why do I have to wear a straw hat? ).
Also the options I have to speak with my Lord are the following:

1) I wish to speak with you in private
2) I want to ask you something
3) I'm here to make my demands
4) I want to retire
5) I want to ask personal leave


Inside 2) I have the options:

1) What would it take to have a long lasting alliance?
2) I want to know the location of someone
3) How is the war going?
4) What are we doing?
5) How is the realm doing?
6) Can I see your skills?


And those are the only options.

That is really strange :/ Perhaps you need power draw in a certain level so you can train as an archer? It would be a shame if you would be given a bow and you can't use it?

I am given the option sometimes to either train to spearman or archer, so the option is there initially, just can't revert it. :S
