Here the idea, this mode could basically be the second stage of siege or something on it own. But would require new map for I admit I don't think of one that fully fit that duty.
This is basically a last stand mode, where you got to protect the king life at all cost. King side (defender) get less reinforcement but get major terrain advantage (choke point where attacker cannot go more then 1-2 at time) and more fund for equipment, while the king himself can get the finest equipment for free. Attacker get better reinforcement.
All this happen in the inside of the castle. And the aim for the attacker is to capture or kill the king (could be variable point for capture or kill), while the defender job is to kill all the enemy reinforcement or wait until the timer run out, at which moment the attacker reinforcement is no longer available (let's say it a defender ally reinforcement that arrived outside). Defender win condition is the one that can be variable, but if you go with a only timed win for defender then have to go with reduced respawn rate or smaller team.
