GAME KILLER! for me at least

To Whom It May Concern:

There will be a small % of players who do nothing but pvp, there will be a lager percentage of players who do single player and pvp, and a small percentage of players who do single player only.  I am one of the people who will do the single player only.  I do not like pvp. 

This is my game killer, the new couching system.  I understand that the new couching system is a great thing for pvp. Fine, great.  I don't like it, I want the old couching system.  What would be a great thing would be the option to have the old couching system as an option for the single player game.  I am old and slow, and having to hit x at the right time to lower your lance is just to much for me. And the lance only stays down for a limited time.  I cant hit a barn with the new system. 

Please give me the old couching system as an option for the single player game.  If that's not possible, the joke being on me because i have already pre purchased the game, I will be unable to play the game.

Agreed, the old system should return, atleast for SP.

Multiplayer and Singleplayer should really be rather different. What works in one does not necessarily work in the other.

I would like to keep it for SP though, I really like the 'timing' of couching. Also don't call something a GAME KILLER too soon, you might want to at least try to get used to it.

Back on topic, I agree. There should be an option for turning on/off the new couching system. At least for single player of course.

Rolling eyes and bull**** are not arguments.
The old system was simple and intuitive.
Now you need to press a key and watch out for a little red dot to see if you can couch.
It just feels strange now, and I've been playing with it a lot (in single player)!

Honestly I think the old couching system is better than the new one. In the opposite : There are not anymore players who can abuse the super damage of it.

Well, it should be kept as an option for singleplayer, no harm from that. Personally, I think the old couching system was way too easy.. But you shouldn't have posted this on the guildhall. Use the warband beta forum under technical support.

I agree; while I am getting used to the new system and rather like it, there is no harm in giving players the option to use the old method in single player.

Yes, I agree. Don't they have an option in SP for Manual Block/Auto block as well? The same thing could be done with manual couch/auto couch. Also this goes for servers, as you can setup a server to have manual or auto block as you see fit.

this is so wrong.
the previous couching was game killer
cause when i ride and my lance is cauching i'ts too big tempt to use this cheat
it's so unrealistically easy, i'd call it cheat.

hmm if the developers dont include this option then i would guess at least 1 mod will come out that makes couching work the old way (if at all possible)

either way i think in single player they should have the option to be any kind of couch-lamer they like cos it's "their" game.
