Game freezes and exit by itself when in a existing battle

when i enter in a battle between bandits and a caravan (for example)
i play for a while, all of sudden the game freezes and 3 sec later exits by itself, without showing any error messages...what should i do?

Is it during the actual battle when it occurs or is it before you enter?

Does it always crash when a certain event occurs (such as being hit)?

Does this happen in every battle, or only in a specific battle? Is it affecting every game, or only games played from a specific save file?

It happens during a battle, when I join in a existing battle such as (caravans vs bandits, or refugees vs vaegirs). it happens usually 2 or 3 minutes after the battle started, during the real fight.When i start my own battle (me vs anybody) there is no problem..

I have only one savedfile, so i can´t tell if happens in the other saves

Firstly, make sure the drivers for the graphics card are up to date. Latest driver should be 8194

Close down anything running in the background.

Easiest way to do this is start - > run -> MSCONFIG
Click the startup tab, click disable all button and click ok. Reboot when prompted. (You can undo this by following the above, and clicking enable all)

Try again, see if the problem re-occurs

if it does, try setting the battle size slider to minimum in the options and see if the problem occurs.
