Since the 1.1.0 update released today, I have not been able to play the game. The launcher will load, and I when I click play, the initial loading screen will pop up, after the loading signal at the bottom right moves for about 15 seconds, the game will crash and ask me to report a bug report. I have 28 mods installed, I disabled all of these but it still does not work.

I verified my game crash, this did not solve the issue, I then re-installed the game, and this still does not solve the issue.

I have also tried reverting back to the previous version, 1.0.9. But it still crashes. Any ideas?

Yeah today I have been trying turn on the game for 3 hours maybe, I tried everything, even reload the game comletely and anyway it shows me "The application faced a problem. We need to collect..."
Hate this:cautious:

Yeah, I have no idea what to try anymore. I have reverted back to every single version, uninstalled, uninstalled all mods. Still won't work. Just need to wait for Taleworlds to release a hotfix I guess

Just an update, I have managed to find a fix for me, and it was mod related.

I have a bunch of mods installed manually, and through vortex, the manual ones are because they don't have a vortex download version.

I naturally assumed disabling all mods through the Bannerlord launcher would solve this, but I was wrong, you actually have to disable them via the Vortex launcher as well.

The mod that was causing me this problem was The "Recruiter 1.0.4" mod. After disabling this through vortex, my game worked like normal. If you don't have this installed I am not really sure what to suggest to be honest, but it might be worth checking all mods via vortex launcher if you have any.

Hypoberic your methods work, but for me I had to uninstall vortex and move all my mods out of the modules folder to get mine to start again

Updating some information about my game launch. After updating 1.1.0, the download was only up to the introductory video, after which a picture with a knight appeared on a black background in the corner of the screen and the game hung and gave an error. Now I completely reinstalled it and the game now freezes on the first screen saver. I mean, things got a little worse. Was there any response from the developers? There are a lot of similar discussions, so the error is massive(((

There is a solution!!!!! It worked for me. You need to delete all the game files in your Documents (including saving them). Don't forget to create a copy. Then run the game, it will create the missing files. After that, the game started working for me. Then you just need to throw it back.

For devs: the issue 'went away' when I launched the game with a debugger attached. Without it, the game would crash while loading. With it attached, the game would continue on to the gamma and exposure calibration screens and then into the main menu. With those completed, I could now launch the game normally (I guess some configuration files were created/adjusted during the process). You might want to look into why that is, I have no interest in pursuing it further now.

Could you please explain how to attach the debugger? Hope it can also solve the issue in my case...
