Need More Info Game crashes on start

Summary:Game starts to load from Steam then comes to an error and shuts down. Problem has persisted through all versions for well over a year now, have had a thread posted in Steam for 4 months now with the crashuploader report and haven't received any further information about this issue. Have followed all recommended steps I can find including deleting many different files in various locations, changing to windowed mode, verifying file integrity, reinstalling the game, many other things.

Hey, could you check if this issue still happening on 1.2.1 beta version of the game as well?
There should be a fix for this on beta branch.
