Same issue: just downloaded the game yesterday; click the play button and it turns from stop to play in a few seconds and nothing happens.

Task Manager immediately says "Suspended" when I try to launch the game and then the program is ended and disappears from the TM.

I just went down the list again, trying to start the game after each item after restarting steam:

1. Verify game files: Done; didn't solve the problem.
2. Delete configs folder: Done; didn't solve the problem.
3. Delete bin folder then re-verify (won't re-verifying put the config folder back?): Done; didn't solve the problem.
4. Delete Launcher Mod: I don't have any mods so this isn't causing the problem.
5. Windows Defender Allow An App: Did this a few days ago; didn't solve the problem.
   1. Turn off firewalls: Did this a few days ago; didn't solve problem.
6. Delete spriteData.xml: this file does not exist in my folders.
7. Delete Logs folder: Done; didn't solve the problem.
8. Try starting the game using the exe launcher files: Tried this the last few days and they never started the game; Tried again today; the Launcher exe opens the launcher but doesn't start the game and the other exes don't start the game either.
9. Delete/Stop Using One Drive: I have never used One Drive.
