Resolved Game crash during escort caravan quest

Summary: Game froze after exiting a battle during the escort caravan quest. All members of the caravan died during the battle, however I won the fight with my troops. Upon leaving the battle and entering the world map, the game freezes immediately. Reloading the autosave file of completing the battle puts me on the world map, where the game is unfrozen, however moving at all immediately freezes the game.
How to Reproduce: Accept escort caravan quest, let caravan members die in battle, finish battle.
Have you used cheats and if so which: none

Hey, have you tried reproducing the issue on a new campaign after manually removing the mod files and verifying the integrity of the game? If the issue is persistent on a vanilla game please let me know.

I am experiencing the exact same problem and I can't continue my Iron man campaign.
When I load the save everything runs as normal but as soon as I click to move somewhere everything freezes.
Would love it if this could get patched soon so I can continue.
