I am sorry if this has been posted before. But after some "intensive use", I find some funny moments I would like to share with you, in no particular order and all happen in 0.623.

Of course, CTD right before you clean up your enemy does not count! :D

1. Without any enemy in sight, Borcha knocks Marnid out with an arrow from behind. I have Borcha suspended for combat for another battle and has his bows and arrow confesicated. BTW, I still can't figure out at time who is who. :)

2. While waiting the enemies to corss the river, I dismount. A townsman, without asking, jumps on my spirited courser. So I kindly ask them to come back down using "dismount" command. I wish these people have such incentives of "roobing" enemy horses during combat.

3. While jumping my horse across the river, it gets crushed on landing with 100+ damages. However, the rider suffers no damange.

4. In arena, right when the combat scene is loaded, my character gets a headshot from enemy, and you know, jump right back to town screen.

Please keep em coming.

One time I had a spear ready and was holding it back, waiting for this river pirate to get within range. Then right when I release it, Borcha steps right in front of me and gets a spear in the head! I lost the battle because I couldnt stop laughing

I had the exact same thing happen to me. Borcha strafes in front of me as I'm throwing a spear, he catches it in the back of the head, so I go to throw another spear and a dismounted vaegir knight steps right in his place and gets a spear in the back of his head too.

I also find it hilarious when I'm the only guy left in the arena and I'm a foot archer, usually I'm laughing too hard to do anything when footmen are swinging their swords at me.

A few times I've witnessed swadian crossbowmen kill eachother.

I had gallantly rescued the kidnapped girl, and I got attacked by bandits. Well, I hunted them down, but still. I saw these three scumbags closing in on the poor girl, so I bravely produced my razorsharp throwing axe, flinged it with a mighty throw, wooshing, then the bandit dodges. Sadly, the girl didn't. Cracking a little girls head with a throwing axe can make you feel like an utter bastard.

I was circling around a pack of sea raiders, my troop atop a hill in the distance while I skirmished as a mounted bowman, and I had a couple of those guys take each other out with throwing axes. It's not something that happens often enough to be an issue but it did feel pretty good. Those guys are dangerous!

hehe i had my swad sharpshooters on a hill, and the swad deserters were comin at me i zoomed in to get a better shot, and i see 3 crossbowmen go down simultaniously, all with bolts in the back of thier head

I was getting gang beat by 2 dark knights on foot, i was trying to back up but they were still faster than me, my swad sharpies just opened fire, ive never seen them so accurate. Imagine 2 guys about to give you the final chop, then you blink and there is 4 or 5 bolts and arrows in each of thier faces!

I saw a river pirate knock his own man out with a rock

i had to shoot borcha off his horse because he cant obey the dismount order

Had to shoot a peasant woman of my heavy charger

I was running from dark nkights and my horse fell off a cliff, knights followed, then my swad knights followed, ended bieng the dead horse river battle....

Heehee great stuff :)

I love the brutality of battles! Once when my horse was killed, I was running to the pack of some sea riders. And then I took some hits but still was able to kill then all. The new enemies that came towards me must have been frightened by the half-naked barbarian swinging his 2h-axe and having a spear right through his chest and an axe in the shoulder. :D

Heh. I keep thinking of that line from Kingdom of Heaven. "I once fought two days with an arrow through my testicles." You do land some arrowshots in this game, sometimes, that really leave you wondering how those guys are managing to get around so well....

Marnid and me were the only two guys left from my forces. He was trying to flee from six or seven black knights on his horse. I was behind them with my bow ready and they were all clustered up together, I couldn't even see marnid. I few random arrow shots would surely hit them in their backs, but the first arrow I fired somehow found its way through all of the knights, up to the front of the pack, and landing on Marnid's head.

I just had a really randomn one. Some mounted vaegarian veteran was at the the top of a cliff. Looking like he was about to charge me, instead he jumps and cripples his horse. As soon as he rises I gave him a good ole axe smash to the face.

I can't keep from laughing when a guy takes a throwing axe/javelin to the face and survives.

It's kind of like *CLUNK* "Do'h!" As he falls back a bit, then staggers back up and keeps walking normally. With a four foot wooden shaft protruding from his face.

My latest character is an UBER mounted archer and my soldier of choice is infantry. Lately I have been shooting the horses out from enemy riders just before they reach my "mob".

I can almost picture the look of surprise and "aaaw crap" they must have being dumped on thier hasses, alone infront of dozens of pissed off infantrymen.

None last, few even get up, those that do never get a chance to swing back.

Yeah it's great/bad when at the last moment one of your own men steps in front of u and takes an arrow in the back, especially when you're trying to be a hero

So there i was, battling it out in the arena. All three of the enemy men were mounted, and me and my two teammates were on foot. My 2handed sword wielder ran out and died, and i managed to kill two of the enemy cavalry myself. My other guy was an archer, and just sat back missing most of the time. Anyway, after a good long fierce battle with the third guy wielding a lance, i almost had him. I had my sword ready to swing and deal the fatal blow...when out of nowhere i take an arrow to the head and die!!! Took me a good few minutes to realize what had happened. But hey...at lease he finally hit SOMETHING!

I was chasing a dark knight, I had hit him a couple of times and was just coming up beside him for the kill, when suddenly I heard something, blood spurted from my head, I was falling from my horse, and I saw this message:

Headhuntress knocked unconscious by Borcha

I had just bought him a sniper crossbow.

refugees killing dark hunters is not that unusual for me ... I often order my men to hold, ride towards the dark hunters & knights and relieve them of their horses... then the peasants with their polearms come into play plink plink plink aaah *evilgrin*
