Austro im still wondering why your willing to pay 3000 dollars just for moddeling
p.s good job
Many people actually get Maya from a keygen . Or you can just get the student version which is free(I have it) and doesn't seem to have any limitations. 3000 is if you're using it for commercial use.

oh lol i may get student and try it out. Also LtSpearing be aware your gonna need some more British weapons planned because people get bored of 1 weapon. I know its innacurate but still people like multiple weapons. Like maybe you could have a slow reloading sniper like thing and a so on. Also I would suggest making it so you can aim down the sights. Im pretty sure there are mods that do that and you could probably just ask there permission and use it.

Sorry but one last things if you didnt know (you probably do) for a different map your could do the Battle of Isandlwana

the bayonet seems rather large, dont you think? and the bayonet tip looks...not sharp lol. just some constructive criticism for yah

Yeah but then again the bayonet for the thing in RL was monstrous anyway lul.

LUL agreed. will do thanks.

it looks massive because its pointing towards you

well if you look at it in proportion to the rest of the rifle, the base of the bayonet looks bigger than the freakin barrel. also another small suggestion, the wood should be a little darker in color.

ACTUALLY nope if you saw it from a more perpendicular angle then it looks as if it were the same/slightly smaller

I'm curious. Did those cow-hide shields do anything against rifle fire? I'm guessing one-shot kills might be necessary to retain balancing anyway, but I was wondering. Can't wait to try this mod by the way, and those are some amazing models Austro!

The Martini Henri would shoot right through the shields. I think this gun could shoot through a guy and hit the one behind him.
A good straight stab of the bayonet would probably also go through this shield.

Jesus how big does the bayonet need to be?, plus it doesn't look very sharp not just at the end but near where the bayonet meets the barrel. Furthermore i don't think the bayonet was the far up the barrel,it looks very heavy with all the weight focused in one area.

Pith Helmet, early stages.

Edit:
The bayonet is rather large, I think it's fine in the model. Muzzle ring should be bigger. Actually, I'm not sure how accurate this picture is.

The shields will be good to have in a melee because even if the stab did go through, sometimes the bayonet would be caught or the barrel would stop the stab. Any zulu warrior knew better than to take a direct stab, more like just swing his shield at the bayonet to make it swing away. The shield will be a very good, high stat shield in game because we cannot make the game use the shield as it was meant to be used, so the only option is to up it's stats :/

Good model rigadoon!

THANKS SHREDZ!! Epic texture.
