I downloaded this game; levelled 3 characters up to lvl 6 and.. well I really want this game... But the prob is, I can't convince my parents to buy it on internet. Besides, we don't have a creditcard...

Will the full version be on CD (and released in Belgium)? I'd really love to have it.

Thank you. :)

I don't think this will happen any time soon. :( Atleast not untill the game is ready and even then I doupt this will happen. Note that these are not official words or anything so there is still hope. ;)

Unfortunately that would increase the price pretty much. Delivery and all. They already charge extra for paypal, for it increases the amount of work.

You can use paypal with a normal back account. If you don't already have one then, if you have a bit of money (enough for the game) you could make a paypal and bank account and just transfer the funds from your bank to paypal.

I posted in another thread that Armagan shouldn't worry about file size, considering the versatility of the registration system he's using. Other users can easily distribute the "shareware" version of the game on CD.

My folks were like that too, so I killed them and buried them in my garden along with my pet parrot!

My parents were (Understandibly!), worried about credit card use on the internet, so I got myself another one, (Another credit card, that is. Not another internet...), transferred the exact amount of money, and used that one. This way, if evil people tries to steal my money from that card, they won't get nothin'! Save for perhaps some remaining money that was left. Hardly enough to buy an ice cream. :D Do that. That should be fairly foolproof.

not if you live in belgium, paypall only accepts credit card money here. I borrowed someones creditcard to buy this game, but to be able to make future purchases on the internet, I'm selling my aquarium (wich is taking up way too much space )on eaby and will only accept a paypall payment to my paypall account. That way I'll have some money on it. maybe the threadstarter has something he doesn't need and he can sell it on ebay accepting only paypall payments

Using Credit Card through internatiol huge companies like PayPal is a lot more trustable than walking alone whit your wallet on street.

How many Credit Card numbers have been stolen from big companies like PayPal, and how many handbags (dunno real name of those things all ladies carry whit them outside :)) have been stolen from silly tourist who wonders alone in streets of spain?

I guess I should borrow somebody's credit card. But it's pretty weird though... 'He you, can I borrow your credit card+know your credit card number to buy a game on internet?'

Alternatively, ask someone else to buy you a serial, and then tell/e-mail it to you? I figure this was done within the Pelit.fi forum community in Finland.

EDIT: And to this 'someone else' you would of course pay in some easier way.

People, people!

CD's in boxes together with lots of air, that's and invention of greedy publisher houses, so that they can rip off developers, forcing them to churn out one Warcraft clone after another to ensure profits for themselves. Most devs must slave for them so that they can sell their products.

So it's better to rejoice that they are devs who try to throw off this yoke, to develop and distribute independently. Otherwise, games like M&B would never exist!

So do not demand those useless trinkets like boxes, CD's or printed manuals. Downloading is the cheapest, most modern way of distributing software!

I guess I'll make this my first post... No credit card....ok, I've never had one because I'm not a big fan of putting myself in debt, but aren't debit cards pretty much standard issue for any bank account? I've had one for...12 years or so.. Is that an America-only thing or are you guys playing M&B on Commodore 64's in refrigerator boxes? I know several of you guys are younger, but I would hope your parent(s) have a bank account at least...and 12 bucks.

As far as the danger of using a c/c or debit card online...bah.. I've used e-commerce since it's inception, even bought groceries online (because I am LAAAAAZYYY) and never had any problems. It's just like viruses or spyware, you only need protectection from them if you are goofy enough to go to the sites (or open the attachments) that give them to you.
