If its a large scale battle yes I couldn't care less but if I am in an intense 1v1 and someone just comes up and kills my opponent then I get mad. I try to be nice and let people have 1v1 fights and dont interrupt it until its finished. Wish other people would just show some courtesy, thats all.

Yeah just sit back and watch the duels ^^ kill a few horses roaming you know?

Actually, I don't see it this way. When I see a friendly engaged with another troop, I'll rush to aid and if I get the kill, whatever, I'm sorry if it makes you sad. My goal is to make sure the friendly doesn't die and then loses all his stuff. Plus on some game modes (like TDM), that makes the team lose less.

Also, if people want to duel naked, bring it to another server than BATTLE. there's nothing I hate less than to, while dead, sit there and watch the two last remaining berserkers fight it out endlessly without regard for teh rest of the players on the server. That's another reason I rush to them when I can and disrupt that stuff.

So yeah, if you see me engage when you don't want to, you'll have to explicitly tell me to let you fight, and then I'll happily watch you duel (and maybe die, also).

Um it depends if they are dueling wouldn't you say so?

Yuppers ahaa

Bad anger management?  :???: I never get pissed off if I get killed or something. In fact, so far I have never got pissed at anything. It's fun, even when you get killed.

The only thing what disturbs me is the lack of teamplay on the EU (Europe) servers. When the EU servers were down and I played a bit on the US servers (with 150 ping, which was fine), I had some best teamplay and tactics in my whole gaming history. That seems to lack on the EU servers, however. Just doesn't happen, mainly it's just "CHAAERG THY ENEMY!!!".

Exasctly funny to see one fly when they jump only to be hit dead cold ahaa or they fly off when they get hit just be thankful its not you now if you were on a killing spree maybe ahaa or if your a nord

as to the team play get a few friends from your clan and start trend of teamplay ^^

The lag is what disturbes me the most. 150 ping is not fine by me, as I've gotten killed many times due to lag when having about 150 ping. I won't "judge" the skills of any player until I see everyone with a ping below 70.

Quoted for truth. How often have I seen defending Khergits on siege jumping out of the castle on their horses (I think we count ourselves lucky when they do this instead of opening the gate without informing the team members .__.), leaving the few sensible players alone on the wall against an approaching army of Rhodoks. Or how often a group of nords on ruined fort charge down to the road so they are completely at the mercy of the enemy's men at arms. :X

As for the frustration, I get enraged over Warband as well, but I have that with most games, so that's not saying much.  I just like to shout at my PC from time to time. ;o

Only thing i don't like about Warband is the new animations. I still can't calculate the range so i usually miss my swings. This is not a big problem though, since i play the game alot and i know i'll adjust in time.

Teamplay is i think as good as it can be expected in any multiplayer community where every game is played with different people with no time to get to know eachother's playing styles and whatnot.

I'm actually enjoying this alot. The main thing i expected from Warband was for the game to give me an environment where i can go against intelligent players. Some drawbacks aside(some minor game mechanics issues, balance issues etc.) it gave me exactly that. Last night i was defending the castle with my Vaegir buddies against Rhodoks. I got into a fight with 3 Rhodoks all by myself and even though i died bloody and painfully at the end, i held my own about 30 seconds without running away. It was great. I decimated armies and conquered kingdoms in single player but i never felt this successful in my 3 years of M&B gaming. And i know it'll get better through beta testing. So no, no frustration or keyboard bashing here

Can't say I've had any of the problems you folks seem to be having :???: I've just had ****loads of fun when I've played.

Well, after a few matches I've realized lag doesn't make playing impossible, so kudos to the developers on that. And about raging about getting killed, I'm actually pretty calm most of the time, even when I get killed.

I don't rage as much as I do in singleplayer, I guess because this time I'm getting killed by actual people, and not just a dumb AI.

Depends what time and which server you're playing on. If you're on early or late when there's only a few people on then mostly we just **** around. Depends on the teams too, there's a constant influx of newbies at the minute.

i'm with ya on this one. if your team mate was losing, you have no way of knowing that at a glance. hp bars would help, but i'm not advocating that. in short- helping your team mates is helping your team mates. end of story. (IF IT'S RED, IT'S DEAD!)

Thing I hate the most right now is doing the most damage to an enemy only to have 3 guys come from behind the enemy and steal my kill, people just have no respect in this game

This is exactly the same thing most people ***** about in IL2 Online dogfights........ And lack of teamwork, and teamies not watching your back, or holding off firing till after you get nailed to make sure of their kill. Guess it is the same in all online multiplayer games....Gotta say the folks of the 29th Infantry Division (Red Orchestra, Darkest Hour mod Clan) practice the best teamwork and co-ordinated small-unit tactics that I've seen online.
Once Warband goes public I'm sure we will see similar clans starting up as Mercenary Bands. This type of warfare really favours such organised and disciplined small bands, as the talk of shiltrons on this board illustrates.

Cant wait for those mercs ^^

It feels awesome when you're fighting some guy and when you're about to lose and you see one of your teammates coming from behind him to wack him a bit to watch your back. Same thing when I see a teammate in trouble and I manage to help him just in time.

Yeah, Archonsod, you're right. I played a lot at the night and that was some epic stuff. Even better than in the US servers.

i havent seen this yet in one of the post here but doesnt anyone gets annoyed by the friendly fire if your team is too crowded you end up shooting yourself
why dont they just undo damage that arrow is suppose to do?

about the kill steal i never realy get that. who's kill is it the one that fights him or the one that kills him?

that's a really good point lol.

but as for the arrow damage, it's a way to prevent stupid flock shooting. i'd be all for the idea (though lacking in the realism department) that you damage yourself instead of your teammate when you shoot them in the back w/ an arrow. OR give them the option. like 'press 1 to slap them' 'press 2 to deal an equal amount of damage to them' 'press 3 to ignore' etc.

Yep, I love it when I'm fighting someone, and I see a temmate show up behind him, I start smiling and say to the screen: you are ****ed now keep looking at me buddy, keep looking at ME.. 2 seconds later whack! guy is dead and I live one to fight another minute

Annyway, yesterday I saw an awesome Nord shieldwall! Crossbow kille dme whilst standing in the wall, but just being able to stand in a shieldwall made me extatic of joy! now I know how my Vikings in MTWII felt

Atilla was one, I think he organised the shieldwall, that was an awesome gaming experience, just like the spearwalls I've stood in with the rhodoks!

Once you have enough players, and use coordinated tactics this game is better than sex
