Right, Well my friend wants a cross branded on him and he wants to be cheap about it so he went looking for some sort of metal stick in the garage and he wants me to brand him soon. My question is, How bad of a infection will it be if you don't do it right. How long should I leave the burning metal on his skin for? I looked this up on the internet and their all saying that it depends. So I just wanted to know the opinions of the great people here at TW forums! Anything you need to know just go ahead and ask and I will try my best to answer them. Thank You

If he isn't willing to do it himself, then he should have a professional do it for him. If you do it for him, please do so after speaking with a lawyer. Unless you live in a state where waivers are legally binding, you will be responsible for any medical bills if you're the one who brands him.

There's a lot that can go wrong with branding, and you don't want to be the one footing the bill if something goes wrong. Seriously, if he's not going to do it himself then he should get a professional to do it for him.

What Shatari is saying makes a lot of sense, btw. I highly suggest you heed it least you find yourself stuck with a hefty bill.

Right, well I can understand those kinds of risks....but I would still wouldn't mind these questions being answered. Just how bad of an infection can he get if I do it wrong. How long should I leave it on for?

Don't try it with hot metal, IIRC there's a chemical (H2O2?) That does the same. And yes, get your 'tard friend to do it himself.
