Freezing Problem

Hello i'm having problem with wanband tha i never did have on M&B my warband keep on freezing on world map

Spec:
Window Vista Home Premuim
AMD Athlon 64 x2 Dual Core Processor 4400+ 2.4 GHz
2.00 GB Ram
32 Bit Operating System
ATI x1250 card

I have vista aswell, although I've upgraded mine very much so.
If you think its with the graphics you can go to the configure menu, which is located on the menu where you launch the game and it shows the drop box for mods, etc. Once you do that go to "Video" then where it says DirectX 9 Put it on DirectX 7.  This helps  slower computer to run the game smoother. I found out that running it on DirectX 7 on maxed out graphics (in game) runs better than the lowest possible graphic setting on DirectX9, with only a few minor graphic details taken away. If you have already done this and you don't think it's with the graphics, then you might want to try reinstalling the game. If you have steam, try getting the standalone game version off of the TW website and enter your CD there.
