I have been running Mount&Blade for years now without any problems.
But a few days ago I encountered a weird problem:
After entering a scene (doesn't matter which one) I run around some time and then, after a minute or something some textures get mixed up (the game suddenly uses wrong textures, like an armor texture for the ground texture, etc.). Then the game lags very hard and freezes after a few seconds. I cannot use Alt+F4 or Ctrl+Alt+Del. I have to shut down the whole computer. In addition to that I sometimes have problems starting the computer right after that. I have to start it in save mode and use system restore.
Reinstalling didn't work.
My specs:
AMD Athlon 2.2 GHZ (dual core)
2048 MB RAM
GeForce 8500GT (512 MB)
